lol my friend told me he liked LGBT burgers. When I told him it was actually called BLT burger and what LGBT meant, he freaked out and was like "This whole time I've been telling people I like gay burgers!!!"
Jordan should look like that forever...blonde hair, the piercings, everything...she is insanely gorgeous, and that style suits her so perfectly(: love Annie Clark and Jordan Todosey! Two of my favorite actresses playing two of my favorite characters! :D
I absolutely love this show. My whole life I've felt like something was wrong. I could never pinpoint it because I didn't know about ftm but I knew I wasnt a girl. I explained how I felt to my parents with help from Degrassi and they accepted me. So did my friends. Unfortunately, my big headed cousin doesn't get it. I've shown her episodes and she still refuses to act like I'm a guy. She constantly reminds me I'm physically a girl. It's that kind of behavior that got poor Adam thrown out of the
man that scene with fitz/owen/adamn reminded me how good an intense season 10 was....season 11 started off super intense with the gang stuff but now its like teen soap opera-ish..
I think, thanks to Degrassi, it's helped me come out and let more people know that I am in fact bisexual. My last girlfriend made me very happy indeed because I wasn't afraid to be seen with her as a couple and it's really relaxing knowing who I am(:
They can't mean that because Fiona definitely stands out and doesn't hide who she is. She is actually pretty upfront about her sexuality and proud to be who she is. I think the original poster just meant that Fiona is such a chill character that she doesn't come off as confrontational.
Jordan's character helped me discover who I am. I was so confused for a long time then I watched Degrassi on Feburary 21st and came out to my mom as FtM right during My Body is a Cage (Part2). The first episode was My Body is a Cage(Part1). I just thank all of Canada for bringing these characters out, I would still be confused, and depressed if it wasn't for characters like Adam.(:
A mainstream romance novel, "How To Grow A Woman" by Brenda Carol Green, has its main romance characters (man and woman) but what is really great about this mainstream book is that it strongly features a lesbian couple. Let's support this author. With enough sells her book may become a movie and have a very positive representation of a gay couple in a mainstream movie! Besides it's a great book and you will love it.
When did Jordan get all her piercings...I've never seen them..and when did she dye her hair? If looks really good but doesn't Adam have brown hair? I haven't watched Degrassi in awhile so..
Someone actually did say he was. The person you replied to was replying to someone who said "They aren't the first lesbians on Degrassi", which would imply that Adam is a lesbian. He is, however, the first transgender character on Degrassi.
The scenes were probally shot way before she dyed her hair. And the piercings can me removed for a short period of time. Cuz she still has brown hair in the last season so :)
And some people aren't attracted to the other gender! I'm gay, so sorry if this sounds a bit out there or weird but, we are who we are! It's not about what's down there it's about what's in the heart and soul of a person, sexuality or not.
I just love it!I mean I´m not judging boys but I think it´s cute that someone understands each other like this two girls!and is so relaxing to see them kissing eah other without being afraid!
One bully threw Adam over his shoulder, was about to hurl him across a hallway but he said "thank you" to his co-bully for holding open the door....even Canadian TV cretins are nice to each other on when doing cretinous things.
I totally agree with them. there's nothing wrong with people like that. I hate it when people put these kind of people in the dark. it are still people and you should respect each other! btw, I really like Degrassi too :D And Fiona is one of my fav characters^^ Along with Holly j. they and much more character have goen through such character development. really well made :) and teh series indeed is very good for teens to watch like they said :)
Jordan and Annie r beautiful and i love both characters. What i hope to c next is a trans female.. Would love to c the interaction between adam and a trans woman. So he could have someone who knows how he feels. L
@elvis9 I know that... But just saying, seeing how whole school[accept for the few] who do see him as woman..stood of stood back be all..WHAT THE HELL MEN! It still have been mean if they grabbed him and toss them out..to floor, but more dismissing way..Be it a boy or a girl..But at lease be less harmful..Forget what happens been so long but I believe they didn't get kicked out of school..as they should been..It seems bad message watchers of the show..
