I CANNOT believe how much Joey changed! Like he used to be this annoying cute overconfident prankster, and he turned into like, a serious, (not so cute) responisble adult. Wow.
YES! I can't believe someone else mentioned this! It has bothered me SINCE the show originally aired! I remember watching it back in the 80's and although I liked her as a character I would always say to my sister "She walks and talks weird." She walked/stood in a weird shoulder-hunched way and she'd stick out her stomach. Bad posture for sure! It's all I see whenever she enters a scene! Those hunched shoulders!
I feel for mel. When my breast came, it was as if they came over night Everyone thought I stuffed, I had tissues thrown at me, hash words. I couldn't take it anymore so I flashed them. "See I told you they were real".
i like the premise of this episode but if the kid from the soccer team could go make his announcement why couldn’t the swim girls just go ask to make their own announcement
Who the fuck wears a bra underneath their swimsuit? I've got Cs and I don't wear a FUCKING BRA UNDERNEATH Y SWIMSUIT! Is no one gonna talk about this?!
Why couldn't the younger kids just ask snake what he eats and does to get tall? I've seen a few episodes so far and it seems like the 6th graders are always afraid to talk the older kids and I find this very unrealistic because in dtng and irl speaking the grades are never this segregated you can talk to who ever you want
i'm proud to say i've never watched any degrassi with drake, new generation or whatever it's called, anything after the degrassi high movie. on another note, l.d. is a really good friend, the kind you'd like to have in real life. they gave her cancer and then cut her out minus updates she was in remission. i guess her character wasn't popular enough or they had no future storyline for her. same with voula but she was only in a few beginning episodes. l.d's been there from the beginning.
nycjin816 Voula's actress left to pursue other opportunities after her manager gave her the advice to do so. She stayed in an interview once that she regretted making the decision to leave Degrassi. I've NO idea what happened to the actress that played L.D. I've looked everywhere but can't find anything. I'd really like to know what happened to her and why she left.
The writers really needed to stop giving LD so many lines with the letter "S" in them! Or does it just seem like she has so many "S" lines due to her insane lisp? The girl who played her was a good actress, but her parents should have had that corrected when she was five! I'm surprised someone with a lisp that bad was actually chosen for the part. Especially since LD's catchphrase in almost every episode is "That's Sexist!" Or, "That'th THexith!"
Mr. Fables nah, but it does pay attention to including minorities or disabled people into its plot to have them represented. If kids with a lisp exist in real life, why exclude them from Degrassi?
