Wheels' adoptive parents forbid him to see Joey, but Wheels sneaks over to see him when they go out. When Wheels returns, he finds that his parents have been killed in an automobile accident. Guilty and grief-stricken, Wheels refuses to let his friends comfort him and begins to exhibit irrational behavior.
The third season of Degrassi Junior High premiered on November 7, 1988 with 16 episodes. It depicts the 1988-1989 school year.

People didn't talk because they are scared of getting hurt. All it did was make things worse for Wheels. He never opened up. He never got closure. He even took it out on Joey.

A lot of fans speculate rather or not the bald-headed guy standing beside Mr. Raditch and Ms Avery is the never seen on camera Mr. Lawrence. Is it really Mr. Lawrence we see (John Bertram)? Also, RIP Neil Hope. You are very much missed by all.

Watxhed this in highschool and my english teacher use to talk about Degrassi to her students I was so sad he lost his parents and then his real dad coild not there to be a father n support his son unconditional Degrassi touched so many sensitive topics and did an amazing job telling real life stories to reach out to everyone and Anyone who needed to watch who was going thru some of those topics... I will forever be a fan of the original Degrassi..So much I wish they would come back n continue. N I mean the Degrassi junior and degrassi High Cast love it!
