stefan brogren did later when next gen aired in 2001 reprising his role as snake which he continued that role until 2017 with "next class". he also served as primary director and producer in next gen's later seasons
Pat should have come to the U.S. and pursued an acting career, full-force. With his talent (arguably the best actor ever on the original Degrassi), looks, and charisma, he very possibly had the makings to become a huge star here.
He moved to L.A. in the 90s and tried to break out there. Didn't really work out for him, unfortunately. He's still getting roles here and there according to his IMDb resume.
@@27inzenith Yeah it sucked Pat was pretty much typecast for doing such an outstanding job in his Joey role preventing him from being a much bigger star his talent reflected. I will say if weren't for him, Stacie Mistysyn/Caitlin and my awesome memories watching DJH/DH as a teenager, I would of never watched and enjoyed Degrassi TNG as an adult.
They came up speaking various languages to reflect their multiethnic cast. That’s got to be the most Canadian thing ever. That is, unless poutine was served afterward.
I remember a "Merry Christmas from Degrassi" ad that ran on CBC about this time. The kids said "Merry Christmas" in their own languages. I remember the Greek from "Alexis."
That's an astounding level of multiculturalism that we unfortunately don't see in shows from the States. I bet most of those kids are first-generation Canadians too.
I just discovered the whole Degrassi Universe and I love the original series, haven’t gotten to the next generations or next class ones because I’m so hung up on the original series! Watching some of them speak different languages made my heart melt! I love Canada, just wish they’d gotten even bigger recognition here in the US
Stacie/Caitlin speaking French was so beautiful! She’s so radiant and confident and I love her, I just found out she’s an American born Canadian and it makes me love her even more lol me being American and all.
What a great show Degrassi Junior high was and then degrassi high and schools out and congrats on all the awards it won. Loved watching this show on channel 2 ABC in Australia when it shown in the afternoons back then. So glad I have the whole series on DVD.
They should have been paid like 6k an episode or more, Degrassi is an amazing show that clearly has stood the test of time since people like me who wasn’t anywhere near born then are discovering it and loving it just like people who grew up on it. Not sure if Canada has SAG-AFTRA or some kind of actor’s union but I hope they were well paid because ALL OF THEM did an amazing job on the show. I love Amanda, Stacie, Sarah, Sara and Stefan…they’re my favorites
I just never get over her hairdo I mean I understand the 80s but damn that was like the worst part of the 80s is that the really bad bad fashion there is the cool fashion and then there is that what were you thinking fashion you know the hairspray and then it flat and then there’s like a little ponytail in the back I just I don’t know what compelled her to think you know what this looks good I look fucking sexy I don’t know I just know it looks good and went down what’s the time listen let’s not
Who ever recorded this butchered the whole thing. Didn't even get 30 seconds in before moving on. Maybe the AV team at Degrassi could give you a few pointers..SMH
