Yep. There was no reason to end that way. The film was not as much needed as a couple of more seasons. But maybe some key actors had planned to go to uni or such and it would have made it more difficult to continue 🤷 I really donr understand why it stopped so early.
Wasn’t really possible to do 4 because the main characters did grade 9 in the Junior High and they wrote out grade 13/OAC (probably bc it was just an Ontario thing). They could’ve done a third season though.
It is sad in this special when Wheel's name gets brought up, and everyone basically stands still, and says nothing. It was clear that he had his issues, and nobody really wanted to talk about him. For such a huge part of the show, and the way School's Out ended, it is sad that he was ignored.
Patrick Reeves that truly is sad..especially when your suffering from mental illness and substance abuse how people will just turn on you and act like nothing is wrong..He was a huge part of the series..
It would've been fun if the creators did a spin-off in the 90s, Degrassi: The College Years, seeing how the original characters navigate their young adulthood
J to the ROC interviewing Degrassi... each Canadian icons. Especially Interesting since Jono plays Shane in Degrassi TNG I was sooo in love with Spike as a kid lol
This looks like the dude who played Shane in the one episode of DeGrassi TNG when Emma wanted to meet her father and Spike was pregnant with Snakes child.
Stephanie being asked “do you regret leaving “ “ I was bored “ Yeah right , an all time classic tv show that will forever be remembered and she was bored !
@@veronicabrooks7325 yah that’s what reprised means, but the original actor who played shane wasn’t in the degrassi tng episode father figure parts 1 and 2
Why did they recast Shane when he was in the episode of the Next Generation where Emma sneaks to the psych ward to see him? And how did they end up using that host?
I swear I thought the girl in the dark blue shirt with the curly hair in the audience sitting right behind the host (chewing gum at 1:10) was one of the twins (Erika or Heather from the old show.
Interesting to see them as adults. I was going through junior high at the same time the show aired. So many complexities at that age, not sure if the show influenced me at all, I just thought the girls were hot.
Northwood was great too. Kirk was the best. Banging the dudes girlfriend while her main man was in a wheelchair. I’ve know dozens of guys who would do that in a second.
I must be the only person on the planet who never thought she had them, I guess. I'm not saying she's ugly or being vicious, I just never got how she was supposed to be the "drop dead gorgeous" character just because she sorta knows how to do hair and makeup and dresses like a 22 year old club hopper. Her face never looked different, just younger. She just had her hair and makeup all done up and super revealing clothes
Kevin smith made degrassi popular again if it wasn’t for him I don’t think there would be a next generation..ugh the girl who played Stephanie is so annoying I bet you everyone just didn’t like her that’s why she left..
@@jakemoore4851 what Kevin smith bringing back Degrassi? Or Stephanie being annoying? Because maybe you should watch part five of this I interview and the Kevin smith bringing it back will be answered
