This is a test run of the G-code program to put degree marks and numbers into a 327 Chevy small block harmonic balancer/dampener. The machine is a Bridgeport Series 1 CNC V-ram, converted to servos, running EMC2 software, now also known as LinuxCNC from www.linuxcncorg. The conversion was done from scratch by me, not from a kit. Servo drives are Gecko G340, and the spindle is run by a Hitachi X200 VFD that uses 220v single phase power on the input side, and produces a 3 phase waveform to run the standard Bridgeport 3 phase spindle motor a variable speed.

One of my other videos happens to address that question. Check out this video, and you will see what I used to retrofit, including my surplus servos. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ou-R44toyUs.html Thanks for watching!
