Showing Dehya missing her auto attacks, unable to kill an hydro slime and failing to enable rev melt is truly one of the character showcases of all time.

Dehya's kit is extremely good at creating elemental reactions, when I saw it I was *frozen* with fear, then became *aggravated* , then proceded to *spread* hate, and after that my hopes for her were *shattered* .

Dehya's kit sure did create a lot of reactions from the community

I lowkey agree with his statement about Cyno being in the perfect state for a character. Not every character needs to be busted on release or equal in power, BUT all characters should feel good to pull and use if you want them even if they are outclassed by others from a meta perspective. The lesser options shouldn't require so much more effort to operate competitively against their betters. Dehya is looking so bad that even if you really like the character and don't care about meta, it still may be hard to justify pulling and playing her over others. Not a must pull but a good pull if you want the character is the minimum state all character, at least all 5 stars, should be released imo

thing is, everything she does looks so damn cool, so you would they she would have corresponding amount of care into her kit, it is well and truly baffling

Just a heads up as a German, Eula is not a name that needs special pronunciation as it does not really exist over here. It would in theory be pronounced "Oilah", but we call her by her english name here as well.

On the topic of things expiring in dumb events, does anyone remember Moonchase? You can to collect all the little things to get completion and then all they did was expire in your inventory at end of the event LOL

Dehya's design is absolutely embarassing. Like how they missed the basic shit in game design in order to like push her out and stuff that testing would help fix.

Man, Dehya main not only in complete shamble but knowing that they give THIS little effort into making her, we have never seen character with this low quality before let alone being a 5 star. Are they pulling out some funding ? Or dehya is the only case ? I mean, let's say she'll get fix immediately in the patch after this with artifact, it's still a whole ass another 6 weeks. Imagine pulling a character that you cannot play, For the whole duration of 6 weeks, while in the patch that she's supposed to be the strongest because it's her time for abyss rotation, yet that's the time she cannot work. Forget carrying in Spiral Abyss and meta, Dehya's shaping out to be the very first 5* that can't even carry new accounts during the AR1-40 journey.

This makes me think of how they handle Beta test and how much testers are really testing and giving feedback instead of just leaking info. No way this can pass over a whole month or more of testing, unbelievable!

I've never been so disappointed in Mihoyo. I've been saving since Sumeru started in anticipation for Dehya. I only summoned on Nahida and skipped every other character for her and this is what I waited for? I wouldn't even care about her damage if she looked fun to play , but she doesn't even seem fun to play with how clunky her kit looks. I'm hoping the stealth buff/fix her before release but I know deep down that they won't.

Dehya is also running her signature in the event run, you can see the passive around her model immediately after she uses her E.Skill. FeelsBadMan can’t even kill a lv.70 slime

I love that mushrooms have a little yellow icon that shows when the skill is available and devs are unable to see past the irony that normal HUD still doesn't allow you that 🤡

Zajef's idea of making the spice event enable farming food that is like 5% better for the combat or exploration players is actually pretty lit and I don't think it'll mess with how much space the game will take on your platform of choice either.

Dehya should have been a burgeon dps. We have some aggravate/spread dps characters (cyno, Al Haitham), and a bloom dps character(Nilou). All we needed was a hyperbloom and burgeon dps. But no, they gave us a character with pyro albedo’s e, and pyro cyno’s q. (Her burst makes her pyro heizou imo)

I'm starting to get back into Genshin and I've seen all the drama while removed from it, they really did her dirty, like they actually did not care lol. For me this is kind of plus, I liked Dehya from the story and when I took my break I had no gems, so easy skip I guess, still sucks.

besides already knowing about her low numbers, I actually forgot about dehya's actual E function that when I saw it again on the livesteam, I thought that "hey, she could maybe work really well in burgeon instead".. and then I remember thoma exists with an actual shield to boot that doesn't damage him when your active character gets hit. as for mika he's an easy skip for me even as someone who uses eula a lot esp. when I've already built a c6 rosa and even c6 yunjin, his value quickly diminishes.

The fact that they making shit characters for the SOLE reason of adding them to the permanent banner is disgusting and so disheartening. I get the game "needs to make money" but purposefully making a character bad because they will then become permanent creates a horrible precendent and leaves me with a very VERY bad taste about Hoyoverse and their direction for the future.

Concerning Dehya's E skill and the reaction times problem, i don't really understand...why did they put the triggering effect of her elemental skill every 2.5 seconds? Like... If the devs wanted her to be more Support than Dps wouldn't have been better having the effect every 2s or 1.5s? I'm not a TC neither a developer but this was exactly my first impressions after seeing the livestream. Is it really possible that they didn't notice the problems with Ganyu and Tartaglia? they even made a video for us! Dehya is a 5 star character, this is not acceptable.

The Dehya section of this video doesn't even cover how the entire duration of level 90 Dehya's burst (ie hitting 8-10 times plus the giant kick at the end) wasn't enough to kill a level 70 hydro slime that she was vaporizing by default, or how long it took her to kill one fodder fatui while standing on Bennett's circle. Zajeff mentioned this on live stream but looks like it was edited out because it was looking sad enough already.

Ngl, Dehya situation discourages the desire to play Genshin. At all. I feel bad for those who were waiting for her + I feel dumb myself, because Dehya is the only character I was really interested in. The worst part is that I like animations, but they feel wasted.

Dehya single handedly wipe eula banner out of this patch. Why would they deliberately not put Mika - a physical support on eula's - a physical dps banner? Because they are well aware of how bad Dehya is making her sale likely being bad. Combine that with a not very "meta" character like eula and boom, there goes the good numbers on the financial report this month. So there we have it, they killed dehya, then put ayaka on the banner to still make sales. The most infuriating part is this happen after 2 years of game design, which mean they know full well how bad they're making her, and how scummy of a tactic they're going to use to deal with the community full of sheeps at this point.

Unrelated, but I 36 stars this Abyss with Fav Cyno, Lv 20 Xinqiu with a 3 star ER weapon, Nahida and Full EM Thoma, it was really fun

So... after 3.5 livestream, I can safely say that there are idiots working in the management at mHY. They turned Dehya from being one of the MOST anticipated characters from Sumeru, a hot-seller that was all but certain, a money-maker who was gonna rake in millions..., into a Xinyan-tier, to the point that even the people, who were gonna pull for her, are hesitant now since she's gonna be added to the standard banner, a move that thrills few and upsets many. They did Dehya so dirty that they basically destroyed her character. Millions of revenue will be lost due to this idiotic decision. If mHY wanted to experiment with niche meat shield build, they could've done it with a 4*, or a less popular future 5*. We haven't got a decent Pyro unit since... Hu Tao. At this point, even if they buffed her, there's no point in pulling since I'll get her eventually from all the 50/50's I will be losing anyway. All that effort into her awesome designs, utterly wasted.

Just increase her numbers and improve her interaction with burgeon its not that hard,why they want her to fail that much??

This really freaking sucks because i do really like the concept of a damage reducing off-field tank. 50% damage reduction literally doubles the efficacy of any healing and shielding, which could make so many underwhelming defensive units shine. Except that's the only potentially useful thing...

Hello Mr zajef, TCG TCer here, coming with just some info regarding what you said in the TCG section Collei/Quicken are still very much playable and still very good. Before the quicken nerf, Collei decks would still win by turn 2-3 even without drawing her broken card. Now it feels still very good but not nearly as oppressive as before. Also Collei/Chicken is a thing now! KEKW Kenki you are pretty much right. He's pretty much unplayable right now, but if I can leave a personal opinion here, I think it's fine. A character with 2 elements being good just breaks the game and Kenki sadly showed that. Yoimiya was also nerfed the right way. She is still very much playable, but using her as a NA driver for other characters rather than using a burst that deals 15 DMG over a turn which you cannot stop once casted. Anything less than 4-3 for her burst is pretty much a pain. The meta is honestly pretty alright now, there are 2 decks who are pretty dominant, but now there's a lot more variety for decks rather than just having literally 3 decks who were close to playable. Although I agree, more action cards would be very much appreciated

Dehya unironically has good reactions. And I mean that she is the best emotional reaction dps. She triggered burning on Genshin community, and simultaneously triggered aggravate despite being pyro, and burgeoned disgust to her treatment. Also, she is probably the best tank we have. She tanked pretty much all of the worst cases to happen. Hopefully, she drained HYV's resources used for nerfing and unfairly treating characters. Also, she tanks damage in more ways than you imagined. What a Chad Dehya is to do that, but at what cost? RIP Dehya. Sad to lose you to the treacherous clutches of a company of a racist country.

Dehya is fantastic, just needs some buffs on damage multipliers, skill uptime, energy regen, skill proc frequency, survivability, ICD, pushback, damage reduction, normal attacks, base stats, passives, artifact options, team synergies, burst cost, burst control and getting kills

Dehya is so bad that we are still discovering new flaws, she truly is the embodiment of "what could go wrong". I'll say something sad but I wished that I didn't like her in the beginning, at least, it wouldn't have been so painful to see what she became...
