Deion barely won 4 games last season as a D1 coach. He should be focused on winning and leading before anything else.

Deion is more concerned about Travis and Shedeur's draft status then he is about coaching The Buffaloes

I don't understand how a sports commentator can be undecided / undetermined on the quality of player someone is. The FILM is out there, watch it. Once you've watched it, objectively evaluate the execution/performance of the fundamentals of the position. You can recognize Warren Sapp is a phenomenal Dlineman from his get-off, hand-placement, agility, power and quickness - you don't need to see the result of a play or his stats to KNOW what you're dealing with. THIS is where Shedeur fails miserably on the smell test.

Deion thinks that he's going to be coaching one of the teams with a top 4 pick, and that's why he's saying what he's saying. The problem is his quarterback son is too small and he's going to run Travis Hunter into the ground and that kid will be injury riddled by the time this next season is over.

His sons (and Deon) will be nothing but a migraine for an NFL coach/coordinator. I can see Deon complaining to an NFL coach or owner that his kid isn’t getting enough playing time or his kid shouldn’t be corrected in practice. This is a recipe for disaster.

I didn't think Sander's kids are good enough to refuse whatever offer they get to play in the NFL. Are they going to get picked based on anything other than their father's reputation?

If I was an owner of an NFL team, I would FIRE my GM or head coach if they even had an idea to draft Sanders or Hunter, go somewhere else with those headaches..

Shedeur will be in the top 3 picks; if not Deion and the Wokies will be out on the streets crying racism. There are plenty of GMs/owners who know this and will select the guy even if they want another player just to keep Deion and the Wokies happy. I don't know what planet Deion was on when he was drafted; there were plenty of black people in authority positions in the 80s - politics, police chiefs, businesses, media. Deion is stuck on the race narrative. It rarely goes well when players have "backstage" parents who want to dictate the what/where/who of their son's pro career. Sidenote: Those cities Deion speaks of that are run mostly by black politicians are often s-holes and have deteriorated as the political, school admin, and other power positions have gotten blacker. Sad fact but true.

Eli Manning dad played in the NFL and said the same thing about his sons going to certain teams. They know people in the NFL and owners and knows which organizations are dumpster fire from the top to the bottom.

Americans today believe they are entitled. Players, coaches, fathers. The NFL is an American institution. It is way bigger than any player. Every player in the NFL can be replaced by the teams fairly easily without missing a beat. Owners do not want to be told by players who they will play for and how much they will be paid. Owners do not have to agree to the demands. They can pass and draft someone else. I have no idea if Shedeur Sanders will have a 10 year career in the NFL, but I am pretty sure the Buffalo Bills will survive and prosper for the next ten years despite Sanders not wanting to play there.

Deion Sanders did his sons a disservice by being their coach for so long, in my humble opinion. He should have “released” both his boys, “pushed them out of dad’s nest”, and let them “fly” and develop under someone else’s tulage. The Colorado Buffalo football team performed poorly in 2023 and winning games is better than “looking good”? Regardless, his boys are already richer than 99.999% of us! Hopefully they can save and invest most of their loot?
