Same here. I think you speak for most of us on that. Of course, Uninvited was scarier for me, as it had undead creatures which could kill you instantly if you made a bad move. Too bad hitting them doesn't help.

@@123TauruZ321 for supper mario, no. For gritty private detective where you delve into the seedy underbelly of a city so corrupt you're only alive to be arrested for crimes you didn't commit, I'd say yes.

lisamariefan he is in the alley. I think I used to run into him when I climb out of the manhole. But don't quote me in it as it was so long since I actually played this classic. But he is definitely not in same spots as the three places you find the one with a gun.

Self-defense has been defined as "equal or lesser force" where I'm from for as long as I recall. It's also part of a "reasonable expectation of harm"- as in you'd have to either be pretty banged up if you met them in public, or they'd have to be doing a little B&E on your property to shoot someone unarmed and expect it to fly. If you don't have a scratch on you and they have a bullet in their head, yeah it would be pretty hard to sell (especially since our protagonist looks like he could hold his own in a fistfight), unless there was camera footage to suggest otherwise.
