Such beautiful and difficult composition is made once in centuries , that too can be justified only by great singer late Rafi sb but this amazing artiste Anil bhai did full justice. Wat a song it was with lowest of low pitches coupled with high pitch as well, that is why I say that it is a very difficult song particularly singing at the stage. Well done dear Anil, keep it up.
I have heard so many songs from Anil. He tries his best to go near Rafi's original. In some other songs, he makes justice to them. But particularly, this song is very tough to perform live on the stage. I have heard Javed Ali, Rajesh Panwar, Sonu Nigam, Mhd. Aziz. All of them get missed the real rendition or metering path and pass that singing moments in some improvisation on their own. Specially, when the higher octav starts with " Ud ja, Ud ja" words, step by step lines are going up and up, then again comes downward slop in voice which goes upto the bottom of lower octave. This is the point where singers commit mistake. Anil also has done the same blunder at 2 or 3 places. Mind well, I am not discouraging him. OR I am not devalueting his performance. But being the special fan of M. Rafi Saahb, I have to present my views on the unauthentic changes made by Anil.

Auron ki tarah main bhi Rafi Sahab ka fan hoon aur Anil Bajpai ji ko bhi RU-vid par sunta rehta hoo aur inka bhi fan hoon
