I can't really blame All Might, he's one of those people who just does things on instinct. His teaching method was literally "Remember the feeling and keep doing that," which is probably what worked for him.

@@alejandroalfaro3800 He still could have called up Gran Torino and explained the situation and got feedback. Thinking it was okay for Deku to just blow up his body was the dumbest way to go about it.

@@alejandroalfaro3800 Eh, it wasn't bad to start. But between all of Nezu's lectures, pointed comments from those like Aizawa, Recovery Girl's outright threats, AND his writing to his old teacher he really should have been a little better about it before now.

Possible, if it gave him the speed to dodge Shoto’s fire attack, but given Deku’s penchant for rushing head-on into things I still think it likely would have ended like that

Im pretty sure Todoroki with fire and ice ranks much higher than bakugo and deku. As even 8% full cowling was not enough to beat Bakugo im sure Deku would have lost badly!

I think it’s his commitment to the bit that makes it work.

Yeah, Stain is interesting because his only flaw is going to such extremes. His motivation is absolutely right, and their society would be better off if Pro Heroes were more genuinely heroic. There’d be fewer cases of people like Shigaraki. But murdering “fake” heroes to spur the rest into being better is a terrible way to go about it.

You can see him still struggling to bring out just that 5 percent. He did use it once or twice against Todoroki at less than 100, the first time in the Cavalry Battle, and then again when he punched Todoroki in the stomach during their 1v1. He’s been learning to reduce the output, now he’s trying to do that precise level of strength in an instant. It’s why he had trouble in that first Full Cowling spar, was because he needed too much time to regulate his output and bring it to the safe level in his whole body. Torino kept hitting him and making him lose focus. He hid under the couch to buy himself the second or two needed to get the right output going. That’s also why they kept sparring for a day or two, was so that he could get better at quickly bringing out the 5 percent. Now that he isn’t breaking bones with every usage, he can start mastering OFA through repeated usage, which is why his progress is faster now than it has been before the internship. When he had to spend a day or two healing after throwing a single punch, it took forever for him to learn better how to use it.

@@hopejaworski9097 Yeah I suppose but the speed at which he can suddenly do these things is a bit unrealistic. He had roughly 2 months between the entrance exam and the start of school and made 0% progress but now in just a couple days he's improving by leaps and bounds.
