Delamere: Forest of Bogs 

What an interesting place. I'm thankful there are dedicated and knowledgable people like the spokesperson on this video working in the field. Bravo! Keep up the good work.

I spend months in the campsite attached to the forest and for decades I have watched these bogs revival The photos I take plantlife of the bogs, the lichen and fungi in the forest shows the changes over the years. There is an abundance of birdlife, my favourite is the geese returning in large numbers in a "V" formation to Blakemere as the sun goes down.... I love to hear them at the first rays of the sun taking off, not always a favourite with all campers The morning bird calls are truly wonderful. Walking around the forest in Autumn when the leaves change is unforgettable, especially if one of the conkers or other nuts hits you on the head. I'll be there again in three weeks as spring wakens the forest from its winter sleep, I can't wait!

Grew up on the edge of Delamere nearly sixty years ago the fauna and flora of this part of Cheshire was spectacular
