I was egging on Damon to win Elena over for "real" since he rescued her and took her with him to Georgia...where they Had Fun(She also saved his life for the 1st)... but I Really started to egg him on when he saved her from being humiliated in front of everyone and danced with her at "Miss Mystic Falls", Which 'Stefan' was Supposed to be doing 🤔 (blood lust issues- Surprise-Surprise)

The subtle changes in Damon's expression while listening to Elena's confession. The complete joy that showed on his face when his eyes lit up in awe when Elena said "she loves him". For those saying that people are normalizing brothers stealing their brothers' girlfriends...you clearly did not pay attention to the details of the story. Stefan pushed her away while she desperately clung to their relationship. Stefan broke up with her even while she pleaded that he stays. Damon and Elena fought hard for Stefan, to ensure his happiness. Let's just call it for what it is. Damon did not steal. He waited for his time.
When Stefan broke up with her she didn’t plead that he stays 😂. What show were you watching? He says I can’t do this anymore and she says I know. She was done with Stefan for a while.

I'm so team Damon because she says "you make me question everything" and he says that he's wrong for her but she makes him better. It makes me think about when she tells him "maybe if I met you first" and then she ends up getting her memories back when she changes and realizes that they actually did and he never told her. Team Delena.
I love how she saw right through him. She knew he was trying to self sabotage again so he didn't have to be vulnerable and he was trying to hurt her before she hurt him.
I love how Elena still loves Damon no matter what he has done, knowing that he's been a terrible person. And I love it when she says she's in love with him and says that shes not sorry for meeting him he instantly grabs her and kisses her. This is why I believe in love. People can think they're not right for someone, but you never know when someone can't live without you and how much you mean to them even though you think your not good enough for them. But Damon is good enough for Elena and Elena is good enough for Damon and they make each other a better person and they are meant to be together and I will never change my mind. I will always be a Delena Stan and even though Elena loved Stefan and Stefan loved Elena and they had a good relationship and they were great together and they gone through everything together, but the bond and chemistry that Damon and Elena have together is amazing and they are both better for each other and I love this both. Damon has done horrible things but he is a good person, he does what he does to protect the people that he loves and no matter what Elena will love him with all his heart.

I love this girl Elena. she is so nice person Stefan and Damon literally tested her love and granted her when they were mad over someone. she never give up on each of them when she was in love with them.
Honestly.....I loved Damon from day one! Through out every episode ALL I wanted was for Damon to find someone who loved him & 'made' him feel loved no matter his past. He never made any excuses for what he was & the bad choices he made at times. But Elena said it herself that everything Damon did was for his love for Katherine. (Twisted but very sad) 145 years & his love never changed for Katherine & he never gave up. My heart was brokened when he found out that she wasn't dead & knew where he was & didn't care. Damon was so deeply hurt. It was heartbreaking to watch. He meets Elena first but his heart was with Katherine & he wiped her memory. He told Elena how he felt about her before giving her necklace back & then he wiped her memory. He was ALWAYS there for her & found her necklace & gave it to her on her 18th birthday. The most unselfish thing he ever did. That necklace represented hope for Stephen. BUT..... What was it that Stephen took away from Damon when they were working for Cade. What was it that Caroline gave Damon that Xmas? Why did it not mean anything to Stephen when he found it in Damon's coat pocket? Why did Stephen leave Damon behind because he told Damon that thing made him weak. Damon's humanity was shut off to but that one thing made him feel something he didn't understand but he held on to it.......THAT NECKLACE! As I said, I wanted Damon to find happiness, love and to feel LOVED back. I would have been happy with whomever he chose.......his heart chose Elena.
I felt so sad for Stefan that look on his face the way he hold onto lexis hand i just wish i was there and hug him and told him that it was ok and he'll deserve someone more better
Am I the only one who is a lil bit upset Nina didn't finish the show like I get she wanted to leave nd so older roles but this was her best casting role so far in her acting career nd the show wasn't the same without Elena/Katherine characters nyone agree?? I no some ppl thought it got better I don't rly think so tho
it definitely didn't get better. people who gate elena for no reason said that. which is not true. and Nina left not only for "exploring herself and doing other roles" etc. another reason was Ian. and I think many people will agree.
