(12 Days of Carnage 2022 Edition Day 11) these star power really grind my gears!!!! Membership: / @carnagegameyt Twitter: / carnagegameyt Discord: dsc.gg/carnagegame Instagram: / carnagegameyt
The problem with Chester's second star power is the fact that it's completely overshadowed by the fourth bell star power. Which is very strong and allows Chester to delete half the cast with one ammo
It's overshadowed but also completly useless when you have Spicy Dice gadget. You got a bad super? Just reroll it or use it to charge a new one. You'd do that even without Sneak Peek on. And guess what, 1st SP makes it easier to cycle supers so yeah Sneak Peek is useless.
tbh, in gem grab and some control based maps, 8-bit's speed star power is far better, he hits more shots and becomes more harder to hit hence more control over mid.
Exactly. To be blunt about it, 8 bit at his normal speed sucks because he just ends up struggling to hit his shots and he feeds the enemy supers much more. Yes you can use speed gear to nullify this but if the enemy has a brawler like Amber who can destroy bushes easily, then you're basically back to square 1. I'm not saying Boosted Booster is bad either, as it definitely can make up for 8 bit's lack of speed, but if you're going to use a brawler solely to give a damage buff to teammates then you should just use Ruffs since his damage buff also increases health and doesn't require you to stay in a certain area.
@@dancingman9027 speed gear is barely helpful. You're already hard to hit in the bushes and there aren't many open maps with good bush placements. 8-bit is strong enough to not need them at all
yeah pop rocks rucks ass rn. Tho if they do make it throwable it either needs a radius reduction or just a small throw range imo. And I agree with Barracuda when it comes to some supers being better than others, but don't make them worthless.
The thing with belle's star power (second) is that Otis's super completely outclasses it, and it prevents people from SHOOTING, not RELOADING, so its just better to play Otis if you want to stop people from shooting
The main problem, in my opinion, is that during these 3 seconds, most bravlers only manage to use up all the cartridges, not to mention reloading. Increase the recharge lock by 2-3 seconds, and everyone will immediately notice the difference
In my opinion Chester's second star power is still helpful though because like you said you can plan ahead so you know whether to play defense or offense depending on your super
Rosa's second star power is so underrated. Sure you literally cannot die while your super is on and you can take as much time to take the enemies out, but there are plenties of situations that you want to defeat them faster. For example, when the enemy is going to score a ball or when your hp is so low that the shield can't prevent you from dying. Plus, it's basically superior when you are somehow playing Rosa in a map with few to no bushes.
Main Rosa here Yeah but that star power has 2 issues. Who play Rosa in a no-Bush map? Even if was a Wall map, You're the lunch from the trowers and some anti-tanks The another star power is OP, 200hp per second??? With you ultimate activated, its like you are healing more than the damage received. And you can tank crow-poison or Surge-burgen Srry for my bad English
@@acreativeprogrammer Update: i've played some Ball Brawl games with her second star power in high tropies, she deals a lot of damage Now i think both S.power are good. Just play de second S.power when you fight against tanks or Assassins Srry for my B tier English haha
Yeah they could keep that plus add an auto recharge as well but not too quick ofc, so that even if nobody decided to just stand next to it, as they should, it would still come back eventually
I think they could make his 2nd SP a part of his original kit and 30 seconds recharge for his new SP (same time as Darryl and Edgar). It would be very balanced, since both Darryl and Edgar have other ways to charge supers faster (and Darryl has a bigger range for his attacks), and now you can choose 2 play styles for Sam 👍
Alternate Chester’s star power change for the stun if they don’t nerf it for some reason: give the boxing glove a longer range (like 1/3 tile or something) or a wider spread
@@eee_eee problem is not in damage, but in amount of time you can't regenerate after being poisoned. Did you know your opponents could recover 40% of their HP if it was a single attack while they cover behind a wall? If used correctly (in 3v3 to push opponents back waiting for your teammates for example) this is his second best super, after bomb super (bomb recharges way too fast and you always switch to it after death)
Sam's 2nd starpower should just charge automatically after 10 seconds lol, would definitely make it a even choice between his 1st. And I'm so happy somebody out here prefer 8-bit's boosted booster over his plugged in starpower, you'd barely get to utilize the damage booster's sheer potential due to its miniscule range.
No one uses Boosted Booster with randoms because before 600-650 trophies they don't utilize 8-Bit's super at all, and even after that people barely do this, as they go in random matchups with their own strategy 🤔
@@Romashka_Sov I always use 8-bit even above 725+ trophies with boosted booster when the map and mode favors long and medium ranged brawlers, I kept getting starplayer off my teammates doing all the damage with my super and it often surprises me lol-
The definition of skill issue is Spike's Curveball. Not only that, its technically a nerf. It reduces up-close damage by half, and changes his role from tank counter, glass cannon and burst damage to a bad chip brawler with some burst potential. Also Fertilizer is actually good fr fr.
Everyone knows how to dodge spike attacks without curveball. Fertilizer is good, but without curveball spike is nothing but a tank counter, and even then there's better ones at that
@CarlDaBlob Spike is better than colette tho. Colettes only purpose is to beat tanks. Meanwhile spike can do stuff like beat tanks, do decent in solo showdown, clap safes in heist, and be a support brawler to scare people from attacking because they are too worried about dodging.
@@carldablob324 except pros actually know how to dodge curveball... As I said its a "skill issue starpower" if you use it and if it works against you too.
Totally agree w the Chester rework idea, but I think it should be an addition to the sneak peek. Knowing what you've got is useful as it's what makes several brawlers' supers so problematic. Also it randomizes after every respawn and that's just wild
Although Chester’s first star power is so much better than the second one, I think that people are underestimating it. It can be broken in the hands of the right player
Chester's second star power is much better than you think. If his first star power wasnt just broken like it is, i would consider using it all the time. Planning ahead can be a really good thing, and remind you, enemies dont know your super.
I think it would be cool if they made sneak peak buff both of his gadgets by making it so the dice icon is replaced by what the next super will be if you have the first gadget, and make it so that the icon for the second gadget is replaced with an icon representing which of the 4 buffs you will get
Here are my personal Ideas for alternative starpowers. Chester: Wind up - Super charges up naturally, similar to Edgar, but 1/2 speed. Belle - Grounded - Brawlers Marked will use up 1 1/2 ammo, instead of 1 ammo. Doesn’t work on Bea or Carl, but still handy. Surge - Power Dive - Super has more slam range, and does more damage. Sam - Static Cuffs - When thrown, it leaves radius that slows foes Rosa - Thorny Gloves - Just same ability, but only in grass. Bonnie - Cavity - Shoots go BOOM. Grom (Change is other Power) - Iron Weight - Instead of make self faster, make others slower when hit by super. Those are my reworks for some of the star Powers I sort of agree are useless and made a tad bit better. Feel free to judge me to the pits of heck.
Chester 2nd star power lets you plan ahead to use the super better than if you just got it for example if you just got the explosion super youd just throw it a enemies or a wall but the 2nd star power lets you think about how you want to use it and which walls will benefit your team
I think it'd be interesting if chester's bad star power tweaked his supers slightly. Pop rocks can be thrown a small distance for easier positioning. The heal also gives a small heal to nearby teammates, the poison reduces the damage affected enemies deal, that sort of thing
Rosa SP is actually not that bad, I have no clue why it's here. I'm leave my opponent with like 500 hp pretty often without this SP. Also if you are attacking 2 or 3 opponents at the same time (with the shield, ofc), you don't have 99% chance of winning at all so additional damage can be pretty useful.
@@apoxalypsewhen The Problem is not in Rosa's SPs at all (they are like average IMO, but first one need a buff from 200 to 250 or 300 HP), tanks are overall weak right now. I don't really know why, maybe because of tons of opened maps or lots of tank counters in the game (every third brawler can counter tanks, lol) or because they can't really help their teammates on other lane because of the short range, I don't know. But personally I enjoy playing tanks and I hope thay will become more playable soon(talking about 3v3).
@@skorbech agreed, however thorny gloves is objectively bad because it limits the uses of Rosa's super to being mainly offensive, when it's really better used for defense most of the time. something needs to change to make her abilities more viable bc right now they're just not it
@@dancingman9027 I would use Rosa's shield to attack even without this SP, when I'm on full HP and opponent is close enough to me so I can deal damage to him. I don't know how it's possible to use it for defense, like activate it when you are on low HP trying to run away from your opponents and survive, or something like that... Maybe I just don't understand something, just sharing my opinion, it isn't necessarily right.
@@skorbech I don't understand him either, using her super do escape is obviously wasteful. Her super is meant to tank damage up close so she can go toe to toe with her opponent. Her thorny gloves helps with that alot, plus it's active each time her super is used, not in a specific area like bushes. If you attack with thorny gloves successfully you will chrage your super meter immensely close to being able to use it again. Thorny gloves is objectively the better SP
The bonnie one is good. You dont have to hit anything it just splits. Good for stopping heal around a wall and can hit for an extra bit of damage that could be the difference between life or death but if def needs a buff
Hinestly instead of recharging beas supershot if you miss, id think it be cool if it recharged when it hit, but it gets like a 10% bullet speed nerf. So if ur aim is like insane u could shoot infinite supercharged shots but its not going to be easy
(I'm editing this slowly) have an idea for each star power, the ones I remember of course 🦧 Chester: same ideia as you but If chester died he would play several of their attacks and smoke him laughing Belle: Same thing but all the enemy's ammo goes to her, and she also recovers some of her super 8 bit: Allies also get fast Sam: The area is bigger and the damage of the gauntlet increases a little and it becomes invisible on the ground (so for others to touch it) Surge: I put his First star power on his second star power, and the new one would make the surge take 25% damage on the first hit and his attacks a little more range, I'm out of ideas Now the rest is up to yall who found this comment
Rosa : When her shield is on, she deals extra damage, but also gains a speed boost Grom : the extra damage is now based on how far you throw his attack Bea : If she misses a shot, she still has her attack supercharged, only this time it won't go away until she hits someone Bonnie : The teeth doesn't shatter into 4 pieces anymore, instead it has a small explosion like Brock's attack, so it has alot more splash damage
I think all except Chester and Bea were valid. Having a starpower that makes missing less punishing is great design. The more players who can use a brawler the better. Chester sneak peek starpower isn’t the best but you can use your super immediately after getting it instead of having to react. You can also see if you don’t need that super which allows you to use your dice immediately. I mostly use it on pop rocks so I then get 4 options after getting super instead of 5. If you’re not hitting all missiles every ammo then the 4 shots are only useful in close combat.
Idea for Chester's second star power: Gives him a 30% damage block shield when his ammo bar is full and the shield charges his super by 5% every time he gets hit. Since his health is on the lower side, I think this would really help him in tough situations. His 1st sp would be damage based and 2nd sp would be survivability based, making both useful in different game modes!
The 8-bit star power is good but 1st is just better. Speed lets you stay alive and it's not like the range of the booster and 35% dmg buff is bad. It's sometimes exactly what 8-bit needs
I'd disagree, while I think they're both good star powers, I'd rather my whole team get a larger area of a 50% power boost though. I know 8-bit is hard to move in, but I think it's made up for considering his attacks range is longer than Colt' and Rico's who function similarly to 8-bit himself. 8-bit's attack projectiles aslo aren't 100% accurate like Rico's which makes it easier to hit opponents aside from his already long range
Chester's second star power could become a passive, and it would be very useful, mainly after a possible nerf Belle's second star power is terrible, but edgar was so annoying, that i used it for a while Surge's first star power could work only at max level, but as it used to work before + splitting on walls since lv1 Bonnie's second star power should just be bigger
My idea of Chesters starpower rework. Sneep peak (gone) Last Laugh Everytime Chester dies. He leaves back his jack in the box that explodes with 3 different luck based suprises Suprise 1 : (Constant Death) Jack in the box explodes leaving behind a Lingering Poison cloud that deals 500 damage on impact and stays on the field for 10 seconds dealing 300-700 damage per tick in a well sized area. The longer you stay in the cloud of gas the higher the damage gets. Suprise 2 : (Sticky reload) Jack in the box explodes leaving behind a sticky gum that slows enemy reload time by 30% for 4 seconds Suprise 3 : (Sugar wall) Jack in the box explodes creating a massive candy wall that blocks enemies from passing through.. Contains 6000 health. PS : I don't know about balancing and such but i definetly think this has a chance of being used over his first very op starpower since maybe.. this one is more fun and has more value mainly in 3v3 gameplay. Love the video Carnage!
I think the Sam fost charger was made to help him recover his gloves when an enemy is watching after it and not letting you pick it up. It may be useful sometimes
I think Honey comb provides more value for an player than instabeeload. You somehow acctually hit enemy and now you have a nice shield that will keep alive. When you have the other one however you'll miss both big shots. The problem is when you're a bad random and are for some reason very suicidal
How these star powers can be reworked into new stuff: 1: Chester can have a star power called ‘Short Cycle’ making his bell cycle from 1 2 3 to 2 3 2 3 2: Belle can get a star power called ‘Slowed Shocker’ Making so brawlers get slowed by f Belles little static is on them
Other starpower of Chester could be making the bells larger, instead of spreading the projectiles they could turn it into one bell but same damage as 2 and 3 bells.
Chesters poison does NOT need to last any longer. I was literally a 9 cube stu against a 2 cube Chester and he hit me once, getting me down to 4000 HP, and his poison managed to kill me while he sat behind a wall and spun.
Chester’s new star power should be when an enemy is in 8 tiles of him he will laugh making the enemy scared and they can’t aim properly I call it laugh it up
If you master surge, this star power will become the most powerful weapon in the game. You need to shoot the wall instead of the enemy, and you will deal a lot extra damage (it only works with his last upgrade level, but its worth it)
Probably the big problem is some brawlers having a HUGE VANTAGE star power and another that gonna be great in a situation that occurs 1 time after 10 games useless
How i fell to buff Bonnie's "wisdom" tooth Bonnie and Clyde:Tooth's go in now diagonals alongside normal sides, and better range Bonnie without Clyde:Just add the current one into that,it will work into doing great splash damage.
I Think belle's Grounded would be like kinda usefull if it also took one or two ammo. This would also make it more reliable because you know u are acutally getting use out of the reload reduction
I think Sam's second star power must be invisible for the enemy and If they walk RIGHT ON TOP of the gloves, an instantly super charge for Sam and 500 damage, splash slow down effect to the enemy like Belle's gadget. If it's so strong, removing the blue super charging area. People will cycle super very fast like this so these would happen after throwing the gloves (3 or 4 seconds later)
Bell grounded starpower is good against brawlers who attack very fast and have a quick reload, need a lot of attacks and you block them. So I wouldn't call it bad starpower.
A alternative to Surge's 1st star power: Every 5.5 seconds Surge's main attack splits up Or A completely different idea: Every time surge levels up Surge gains a shield thats reduces damage for 15% for the next 10 seconds
I have an idea to rework the second 8-bit star power, Super wires -When 8-bit or an ally is in his super's zone, he recharges his super slowly (a bit more than the bo gadget).
Chester 2nd star power buff idea:.besides knowing wich súper he will get, when he uses his main attack his súper will randomly change to a different one. Now this will make his first gadget useless, yes but for that I have a rework idea for the first gadget. Pranky drainy: if chester hits someone with his next attack, that enemy will get his súper recharge drained bit by bit for 10 seconds and chester will get that súper charge for his own súper. the more proyectiles hit the enemy, the faster will be the súper drain and so the faster chester will recharge it's super.
I feel like a new star power for chester should be switcheroo but what he can do is get the option to switch any of his supers with a new one like laffy lasso or sizzling cinnamon
Here are some cool ideas for starpower reworks: Chesster: only in emergencies Chessters next super will slowly charge when his health is lower then 45% Sam: New gloves When Sam picks up his gloves, he will get a 20% damage buff for 2 seconds. 8-bit: charging... 8-bit's his allays will charge they're super in 8-bit's super Surge: New flavour Surge's super deals 100 extra damage each level Bonny: golden tooth In her cannon form, bonny will have a 25% chance of shooting a "golden tooth" wich does 45% more damage Edit: happy new year
