How do you even get +73? The queen is 9, the rooks are 5 each, the bishops and knights are 3 each and the pawns are 1 each which by my calculation gives 39 points of material. In order to get the remaining 34 points, you need to promote your own pawns into 2 more queens, 2 more rooks and 2 knights/bishops. That is insane.

At 15:56 I knew how it was going to end. Hilarious. BTW at 17:15 by my quick count, black has 36 legal moves, and 21 of them lead to white forcing mate within a couple moves. Black's king is trapped on the back rank, and the queen has a way to force mate, so you do need to do something to respond. Even a completely ridiculous move like Qe7 (which loses your queen) is good enough, but you have to do something.

Gms still discover and play new positions each tournament. There is a ton of beauty in the game, especially if you're not a titled player, because then you don't actively play like a computer and after those 20 moves of theory you will create something genuine or lose

i know this feeling, I'm 900 and on 1 or 3 minutes I draw stuff I have no business drawing, lose with 20 more points of material, and some times litterally win on time with a king and a few pawn against queens and rooks. Low ELO, low time, final destination. In this case when I saw the knight ahead of the king blocking his two most convenient squares I knew what was going to happen. It must have burned fiercely.
