@@delhardy71 it's the Macpac deluxe single mat. It's pretty expensive for a self inflating mattress but I haven't seen one that meets the softness. It's kinda stretchy material which makes it really comfy. Inflated: 198 x 76 x 10cm
Brilliant video>>>>>>I’ve got a Delica and this is gave me a few good ideas>>>>>and you made it look easy>>>>>but I’m rubbish at woodwork>>>>>well done>>>>>👌👌👌👌
Another good vid mate. Solid design for your build. I'm going to base my around a 2 person bed, so I think I'll do two pull out draws from the back, with the fridge potentially in one of them.
sounds like a good plan. Dometic have a good drawer fridge that would suit under the bed. Also, if you are in australia, jaycar have some good fridges that you could put a second fridge/freezer up between the driver and passenger seats for extra apce. then if needed you could set one as a freezer for longer trips
Nice video, in the next month or so I shall be starting my own and it’s interesting to see what others do or have done. Are you fitting out the van just for one person or 2.
@@ChrisIsOutside - just fitting it out for one. For the first month or 2 I think I will do a simple bed down the side conversion ( might even put a mattress on the existing seats folded down ) to get an idea of what it will be like living in the space and work out what I’m going have to compromise on. Did you give any thought on putting a turntable on the front passenger seat so you could spin it around and use it for extra starting in the van ? I’ve also realised that I’m going need to choose a fridge/cooler and battery solution before I get too far into the proper build as they will need to built in. I look forward to your future adventures..
@@SandyCrack69 so re fridge/electrics are you in australia? as far as doing a "light" conversion - this is my light version. I still have storage/desk/table to do on the passenger side.
