Delica Camper Conversion - Part 1: Upgrades

@@chunhimyeung1781 nice! I'm going to just do a single bed down the side

@@ChrisIsOutside Single bed down the driver side was my version 1 setup which is extremely easy to do basically a piece of ply wood and 15 legs, you’re done! then my version 2 was a rock n roll bed on the passenger side which is 1000 times better! Its like the VW Westfalia setup. I think we are both building the van in a close time frame. (Still waiting for the Delica to be complied)

@@chunhimyeung1781 I want the single bed so that I can use it as a bench and sit a slide out or drop down desk across from it for work. Then behind the rear seats will be a thin box bench for battery and stuff, so it will be sort of L shaped

@@jonathantasker just finished the first part of the van and slept in it last night out in the bush with Lilly - not long before I have time to make some update videos

What year is your van and model ? Do you have problems in getting spare parts and can you get the van serviced any where ? I am thinking of buying one …. Thank you 👍

My racks came with the van, but I can tell you they are Vortex Bar (Silver 1375mm) + RL Leg (x2) RL210S2

The gutters have big plastic covers. they are damaged and squished on mine. you could cut the plastic to expose the metal gutters in the areas you want to mount the legs
