I really don’t understand the “down thumb” for this video: the explanation of the chords, how to play them and strumming patterns are really clear. Plus, the play along part with your singing adds value to your tutorials (not this one but it is usually included). I guess you just can’t make everyone happy... Thank you so much for your time and passion!

I thought I'd try something different with just posting the play along/cover separately because it was the same 4 chords over and over again. A new play along with this video would have made it too long, and I though it was redundant. Can you explain what you mean by down thumb?

You can use the same positions and chord for the acoustic. It will work. I gave two chord options, so choose which one is best for you.
