History
Segedin Goulash, also known as Szeged Goulash or Székely Gulyás, is a Hungarian dish. Despite suggesting a connection to the city of Szeged, it is named after József Székely, a Hungarian writer and journalist from the 19th century. The dish is a combination of pork, sauerkraut, onions, paprika, and sour cream, and it is a popular variation of the traditional Hungarian goulash.
Ingredients
2 Pounds Pork Shoulder (AKA Pork Butt), Cubed
1 Medium Brown Onion, Chopped
4 Tablespoons Lard or Shortening
1Teaspoon Caraway Seeds
1 Teaspoon Smoked Paprika
1 Cup Water
1 1/2 Cup Sauerkraut
3 Tablespoons Flour or Cornstarch
1 Cup Sour Cream

WoW.! I am Hungarian and that just happens to be one of my favorites. Where did you get the name for your channel? Does it happen to come from one of the episodes (Captain Cook) of a British comedy with Rowan Atkinson "The Black Adder from the 1980s?

Thank you for your comment! I'm thrilled to hear that Hungarian cuisine is one of your favorites. The name of my channel is actually inspired by Captain Cook, the famous voyager who traveled the seven seas. Much like Captain Cook, I've journeyed to many corners of the Earth, exploring different cultures and their cuisines. My channel showcases the diverse dishes I've discovered during my travels. While "The Black Adder" is a fantastic show, the name of my channel is not derived from it. It's all about celebrating the spirit of adventure and culinary exploration, just like Captain Cook himself!
