wait pay on DT is $5 after 15 minutes past pick up time and another $5 for each additional 15 minutes. so your wait pay for 20 minutes past due should be $5. You can ask for incentive pay on orders over $1000
I'm curious as to how this added up to $160...3 deliverthat orders would be maybe $120, and the other runs were single digit pays...would like to see a breakdown.
Ez catering stiffed me three times on tips with catering and once on pay. No way will I work for them. Tip pool and you get zero, it’s time to get upset.
Dude, you’re complaining about $156 bucks in 4 1/2 hours ? That’s $34 hour. Most drivers are not earning $34 hour every shift, i have to work like a dog and hustle for $34+ hour. Plus a lot of luck 🍀 You did good 👍
I thought the video was going in one direction then he shows his true self at the end. Pedro is nothing more than an entitled, miserable man. Smirks at $150 like it’s what he makes an hour.
In my area, that would be great money! I kinda feel like UberEats is super generous with their offers when they know that you are new and want you to get hooked. Now that it's been almost 2 years - wow.... I do it before work (2-10) so I'm on like 7-12ish and consider it a great day if I see $50 in that time. Good money because it's over and above my "W-2" job (I'm in Canada) but it is really slow and ridiculously stingy the past 6 months... maybe more but I've lost track. Evidence why I never give up the union job with benefits and pension.. Heather xo
Over 160 before the end of lunch for the day I'd say that's damn good means you don't really have to go out for dinner unless you just want some extra money!!
What do you mean by deliver that can help with the time? They started canceling mine if the time overlaps even if it’s 45 minutes away and laps by 5 minute
Catering delivery is ripe for turning into true private client opportunities. Just start introducing yourself to restaurant owners/managers. Make them aware they can book you directly. It's that easy. If you really want to step up your game, get yourself some business cards, a simple one-page website, and some door magnet signs for your car. Market yourself.
Not necessarily, some restaurants a high sub total can mean way more of a headache seeing that the amount of food can make it a bit of a hassle. Delivery food vs a MacBook isn't the same at all.
Depends on where the person lives, and what type of vehicle the person drives. Also as far as taxes were able to claim several business expenses so our taxes won't be as high
@@joshuaevans3499 Replacing starters, alternators, breaks, water pumps, fuel pumps along with various other repairs get quite costly. $ 160.00 per day wouldn't be sufficient to keep up with those costs.
@@AJAJ-s9w Your right I'm not arguing with you on that however there's a difference between 160 a day with someone driving 200 miles a day and 160 a day with someone driving 150 miles a day. Also alternators last 80000 to 150000 miles anyway.
I know we like the pay but to deliver catering orders Pick and set up is not worth the $30-$40 the TIME and mileage just don’t equal to the pay Great video as always
I'm eager to get a vehicle and make money but I'm sure as fuck not eager to get back into the gig economy! Recent events have made me look at things differently and running vehicles into the ground and increasing the likelihood of life changing events happening isn't worth the money you'll make on the sorry ass apps
How do you feel about that to be honest? I'm not being mean it's a genuine question. For me it doesn't seem right that I would do all the work and than I have to share the tip for that work
They provide really nice bags for their catering service🌸🌸💕 I would definitely ask if they want those bags, if not save them in the car and donate to the school food box del. They woupd oove them❤
Which would be good enough to keep you from having to deal with supervisors and co-workers. Which is a good thing, but your just not really going ever be able to make what I would call a comfortable living as a driver.
You can't really expect to get paid based on the value of the order. It casts the same to deliver a burger and fries as it does to deliver a catering order. All you really are is a food taxi!
So if you got an offer on Doordash to deliver a McDonald’s value meal for 1 mile for 7 bucks would you take it? I bet yes! Now if it was 10k worth of milkshakes going 1 mile for 7 bucks would you still take it? I bet no!
Deliver That is absolutely terrible here in Phoenix/Scottsdale market. Ive had the app on for 48 hours and have got not 1 single offer.... Mind you, I have 160 restaurants 4 miles to my west, and 6 miles to my west.... and nada. Thinking about asking to get my $16 back for my MVR they made us purchase.
Making $34+ an hour and bitching about it? LOL. Dude, you need some perspective. You should be in high spirits in this video. That's not a typical day. That's a damn good day. Sounds like you are burnt out if you can't even enjoy the wins.
I dont do deliveries but I do watch your videos and you should most definitely be receiving at least 10-15% on orders over $500. Seems like the app is profiting on the tips.
These gig drivers are making well above the avg wage you see it all over youtube making $200, $500 a day $100k a year That's why I tell everyone they don't need to tip eff that
