I’m planning on getting a L3902 myself once the sale of our first business is finalized. We bought the 17 acres of land that surrounds our home and we are going to try our hand at hobby farming. There is a lot of work for us to do before we can get there because most of the land is either wooded or severely neglected mobile home lots. Definitely need a machine like this to help with the heavy lifting. Thanks for sharing with us! God bless you and your beautiful family.
I have a L3902 that is a week old. Spent 20 hours with it brush hogging my 10 acre field with a 5' brush hog. I had to go slow in low range as the California rains have made the weeds very thick. If it was last year I could have done it in mid range, but this year the grass is very thick. I have the HST not the gear drive. It is a great tractor for my needs.
It does it very well. I’ve chopped up 4” diameter hardwoods, that really does bog it down and you’ll have to lift it up and slowly lower it down to keep shredding that but it did it. For light weight stuff and trees up to 2” it does that very well.
