Dell Latitude 5590 Quick NVME SSD Upgrade 

This is a bit weird port. Normally you have to find the + and - on the charging port, using a multimeter. After that just apply 19V on the pins and it should start. Best case is you replace the charging port.

In this case is only SSD. You can add 2,5" HDD but you have to use adapter with a cable for that model.

If you add RAM memory, nothing will be lost. If you add second SSD, nothing will be lost, you will just have and extra drive letter to store info. If you remove the old one, and put a bigger one, the info will be lost.

@@o22x If you like to replace the one you have ( 256Gb ) you can or clone the disk to the new bigger disk, of just copy the files and make a fresh install on the bigger drive. On this model you can add second drive, but it will be 2,5" SSD. They are a bit cheaper and you can use it for a storage. This way you will have an extra drive letter and all your old info will be there. Only think you need is a cable from the 2,5 drive to the board connector.
