How depth is your table and how much space the monitor takes? can you get them all the way back against the wall? I want to buy one but i don't want to have the monitors to close to my face, my desk has 80cm depth. Thank you, great video by the way

@hometech4572 2 года назад
Hi. My desk is 120 cm X 70.5cm. I struggle for keyboard space + palm placement as I have to place laptop in between the displays, but since you have 80cm, it should be fine for you. I could push the displays all the way back, but I didn't want to get the centre of gravity to the edge of the table. 10 - 15 cms inside the table feels safe.

Hi. The handles are sturdy, doesn't wobble with typing. But I have setup my desk in the first floor, it's timber floor, and if a heavy person walks across the desk or if my kid runs around, there is a visible wobble..

Great video! I am stuck on the monitor tilt panel. I can not get the square tilt to move (the part where you attach the actual monitor). Seems like they are both stuck, but I am sure I am doing something wrong or missing something.

Hi CH. Refer to this image ibb.co/Y8k5Pbs . I've experimented this and found out the below. Block 2 is always in horizontal position and readjusts automatically based on Block 1 tilt angle. If you want to move block 3 (horizontal axis), please hold 1 firmly and apply some pressure left or right side of the display. If you want to move block 4 (vertical axis), hold the top and bottom side of the display and do a push and pull action from the front side of the display. Hope it's useful, not sure if I've articulated it enough.

Hi.. 1. may i know the monitor models that you used ? 2. do you know if the quick release is useful for S2722QC / S2721QS models without using the extra VESA Plate? Thanks for your video :)
@hometech4572
@hometech4572 Год назад
I had a look at s26722qc, the tech spec mentions it has an interface for VESA. I think that means it needs VESA plate in order to go into this arm. I'm not too sure if it would attach without VESA as I don't have that display with me to try out. Sorry.

Nope, for this model S2721HN display that I have, the square plates on the arms would not snug fit on to the back, I had to use vesa plate.

The attachment plates are in a backward type of position when you unbox the product. Do you tilt or move them by force into position or should you even do that? Plus they look like they have this coil thing. Wrapped around them. Do you need to take it off? The manual doesn’t cover this so I don’t want to do the wrong thing by mistake. Any advice?

Beautiful setup, I thought you would be connecting a single laptop to both monitors in a dual monitor setup. Also, when manipulating the monitor during installation it's recommended to leave the factory screen protector on to avoid surface contamination/damage. Never place the screen surface in contact with another surface as you did in 9:23 , it hurts my eyes even by watching it. You should do all that vesa adapter installation while the monitor is in the box with the screen well protected.

The desk was pretty clean, I was careful as well; but true, in my recent installation, I attached plates / arms keeping the display in the box 👍. Now I have a USB hub, so I connect both monitors to same machine.

how is the wobble on it? Ever tried other arms? Looking into a super sturdy one, but seems hard to find

It's proportional to the sturdiness of the desk itself. If desk wobbles by 2mm side ways, monitor would also wobble at twice the rate like 4mm.

The mounting kit seems to have click to release type latch.. but the mda20 doesn't have that, it has vesa plate adapter and screw in place of the release button. Regarding the monitor, 27 inch isn't a problem.

Hi, I'm having a question about the balance (around 14:20min). Is it about the adjustment of the weight of the monitor or about the adjustment of the arm?
@hometech4572
@hometech4572 11 месяцев назад
Hi. Yeah, it's about the adjustment of the weight of the monitor (how easy or difficult is it to lift up or push down with a single finger).. Ill explain with a example, Think of the counter balance as a spring loaded garage shutter. Garage shutter is about 100+kgs, yet we are able to lift it up and put it down easily because of the pre tensioned spring in them.

Could this work on duel curve dell 32 inch monitors?
@hometech4572
@hometech4572 2 года назад
Hi @rick. We'll split the question into two parts. Regarding the 32 inch monitor. I think the 32 inch monitor would be around 70 to 80 cm wide. Based on the measurements here ibb.co/0nRm5hr The arm should be technically able to hold two such monitors. Is dual curved screens and the arms do fine? Aesthetically it might not be a good choice, it's a personal preference.

@hometech4572 Год назад
After fixing the displays, we cannot move the arms to completely interchange their places, the monitors will dash into each other. But I can recommend a solution: Each monitor has two HDMI inputs, so you can have 4 cables total, taking inputs from devices in any desired order.

Hi. ibb.co/9yhMVPy Were you able to attach the vesa plate to your monitor. Then, you can hookup the top two tabs and then use the extra screw (with a heavier head) that they've provided to secure the monitor near the bottom.
