Unboxing and installing 2 DELL U2723QE monitors - Daisy Chain

Thanks for the video. All I needed was what each port does/is and its purpose. This fantastic monitor connection hub is wonderful if you know that. I’ve been a photographer for 32 years. I’ve successfully completed 6 monitor set ups in my life. For me, it’s challenging. Set ups complete with 2 monitors, color syncing with Spyder, 2 additional SSD hard drives, backup drive, camera & CF card connections, Mac laptop & Desktop computers, connected with my Wavelink display. Each time I get a new monitor the tech layout and port/cord configuration has changed so dramatically that I need an education on how to set them up properly. I’ve searched everywhere for a darn explanation on what each connection type does/is/purpose and this was the closest video I’ve found. DELL responses were always ‘how to use their docking station’ which I don’t need.

Thank you for that video, especially the drawing helped a lot. One question: How is the wireless connection to the mouse and keyboard when the transmitter is plugged into the back of the display? Does it work well? I'm getting the sister model U3223QE in a few days and will try out a very similar setup.

Kudos. This was a big selling point for me to buy these same monitors and Dell failed to explain how to properly connect them. After hours of research watching other videos and reading everything I could I got to this video and got everything to work in minutes. Thank you so much for sharing!!

I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to do. you connect both a PC and a laptop to 2 monitors? does it mean on the left you use the PC while the right monitor you use the laptop? or you using dual screen and can switch between the both of them when needed?

what is the cable that is connected after the 2nd type c cable and before the power cable on the monitor on the left hand side?

I have a question. I have to laptops, and they are both windows. I have one connected using the USB-C port to the Dell monitor and the other is connect using the HDMI and USB-C ports, and i have a 2 monitor. When i using the the laptor connected by only USB-C the second monitor shows image, but the hdmi one dont show anything in the second monitor. Can you help me pls?
