DELL Precision T7810 SLI Graphic Card Install 

I thought SLI doesn't work on Precision workstations (unless they are Quadro or FireGl cards)?

I have the same question as the majority...where you you get the cable you used from the PSU to the cards?

Also wondering what cable this is (looks like its from a modular power supply but the connection on the Dell board is PCIe 8 pin not EPS-12V which is what most modular power supplies come with.

There are 2 8 pins behind the mother board that I had to fish out. At least with the 1300 watt PSU. What software are you using to SLI the cards without a SLI motherboard?

I have a T7400 with dual core xeon x5472 @3.0 Ghz with 8 Gb DDR2 fully-buffered ram and a 1000 watt PSU. Would you recommend a GTX 970 or an RX 470 for 1080p gaming?

Can you tell me from where I can buy this 8 pin cable for GPU?

I install a GTX1060 in a T5810 (685W PSU) using a Seasonic G-650 PCIE cable (8-pin to 2 x 2+6) and it works fine - My Corsair RM1000 cable doesn't fit. You can tell because the connections are different. Hope it helps someone :)
