Steps:
Step 1: Pick Master & Slave Monitor
Step 2: Set them up with both connected to your device using USBC/HDMI/DP - Go into settings and go to display, turn on multi monitor sync.
Step 3: Connect DisplayPort cable from Master using the DP Port with 90w into Slave DP 90W Port.
Step 4: Connect USB-C from Master Port to USBC port left of DP
Step 5: Check resolutions
Dell Monitors that allow Daisy Chaining:
- U2723QE
- U3223QE

Thanks for the helpful video! I have a U2520D and just got a new U3223QE. Was actually very simple to daisy chain: DP out from U3223QE and DP in U2520D. USB C 90W out from U3223QE to laptop. Both monitors recognised the link instantly and its only a matter of managing display in Windows. Both monitors are plugged in using their respective power plugs.

Hi thanks for you video. I am slightly confused. I have just purchased two Dell U2723QE, brilliant monitors by the way, I now have 1st monitor connected by DP port. I then removed the orange dust cover and plugged in another DP cable and connected the other end to my DP port on 2nd monitor. Everything working fine at this point. So why do I need to use a USB-Cable from my first monitor back to my PC?

Mine I connected the second monitor, a U2518D, setting the input as Auto. It's got 2 big DP connectors and it worked on one of them but not the other one. If that helps. If you have the master monitor already connected to USBC, when you plug the second the right way, you can hear a noise from laptop to indicate the new device found. Then press the 🪟 key + P and select the extend. It'll show all the monitors.

Hey. So I managed to get the monitor sync turned on on both monitors when the usb-c cables from both were plugged into my laptop. Once that was done I connected the DisplayPort cable from my Master using the DP Port with 90w into Slave DP 90W Port. Then I removed the USB-C port connected to my laptop from the slave, but as soon as I did this only the Master monitor worked and I was getting a no connection signal from the slave, until I re-pluggged it back into the laptop. I'm guessing that if this works I just have the Master connected via USB-c to the device, (my laptop), and then the 2 monitors conected via the DisplayPort cable? Can you please help me figure this out. Thanks so much.

One final bit of info...this is the monitor I'm using. Dell UltraSharp 27 4K USB-C Hub Monitor- U2723QE.. When I look at the back of my monitor the DP port with 90W is only connectible with a USB-C cable, the Display Port Cable slots are either side of that. So I'm not sure what to do about that, as there is no 90W DP port?

I don't think your commentary matches the images which are at an unfortunate angle - in particular the circles do not match the actual plug being inserted to. For the daisy chain the Master goes from 4th port from the left (looking at back) which is NOT the 90w port usb-c port, it is the Displayport plug (out). and on the slave it goes into the 2nd port from the left, also a Displayport plug (in). The source from laptop goes into the 3rd port from the left usb c 90W port. This is important information so people buy the right cables. They will need a Usb-c cable for the connection to source and a displayport cable ~1M to daisy chain.
