DeLonghi Magnifica S Plus. Leaks water into drip tray when making coffee. Help needed!

I’m having the same problem. Please help 😳 I’ve replaced flow meter, generator and O rings, water pump, steam valve. I removed and cleaned the selenoid set had to use the old one ! Did you resolve the problem

My machine leaks out of the condensate drip tray (0:28) but if I remove it, there is no sealing rubber. How can I close this ?

Please, the function of the electrovalve is to open or close, if it has On, let it pass, if it doesn't have ON, block it. but this one seems to have a drainage tube in its body. I have ecam 610, do you know? And RÉSISTANCE DE VAPORISATION at its entrance there is a tube that has a leak because it seems to gain a lot of pressure. I already changed the oring, I already cleaned the RÉSISTANCE DE VAPORISATION inside, but still problem with leakage….. I'm already without ideas…..

How did you take apart the machine? There are screws at the back but I don’t have the correct tool to unscrew them

Hi guys, I thing i get the solution... I had the same problem with my ECAM23420 delonghi. It seems it's the oring (small black one) under the piece you show on 1:08 in your video that is the problem. I just replaced it and I don't have any leakage any more. To see it you can remove the black part showed at 1:08. Then you'll be able to remove a white block with many orings. When the white block is removed, you can see a pin with two oring. For me, it was the top one which was used. Water was going trough it all the time. It's the reason why you have water going back in the left tank and then into drip tray. As I understand, the "pin" is used to remove pressure when the "coffee holder" goes back away. And when the coffee is pressed, the pin close the tank circuit.

My Delonghi Magnifica S is dumping water into the coffee grounds container I am trying to find a solution to this problem would apricate any help

Did you ever fix this? I’ve got a slightly different magnifica model but my drip tray fills up more than it should do and when I pull it away to empty the grounds container I get a fair amount of water under the machine on the left side where the red overflow adapter is. Help!

Did you find out what the cause was in the end. Mine is doing the exact same thing, older model bit internal parts are mostly the same.

when you make coffee or steam it makes a lot of pressure then when you stop it releases the pressure and it goes in to the drip tray hope this helps you

This means that the maschine is overheating the water due to defective mainboard or temperature sensor, just activate ECO mode or energy saving mode from the menu to help with this issue.

This is pretty much delonghi machines in general....I have a completely different delonghi machine and the steamer pumps water into the drip tray which then bubbles like a kettle. Also they cant seem to grasp the fact that an espresso machine needs pressure to make a decent cup. half the time my machine cannot even find enough pressure to push the water through the beans, so that also gets pumped into the drip tray and wastes a double of fine bean grounds. The water will come through ok without any grounds and the valve is not blocked, it is 100% the lack of decent pressure........Probably due to all the hot water and steam being shot out the bottom of the machine instead of going where it is needed. This is every delonghi I have had.....They are almost always shipped from the factory new with valves that already are broken and need replacing.
