Not that far fetched. If you stick your finger in your ass when you're trying to wipe you're gonna have issues. Some things are just that way for a reason
It used to cause issues on all the older vehicles, that’s not DeLorean specific. Ever seen an older Chevy pickup with a drooped door? It’s because doors were heavy on old vehicles. Today’s fiberglass plastic hodgepodge is a lot lighter.

There was a guy that lived in Denver don't know where he moved but I got to see his DeLorean he fixed all the issues ALL OF THEM he put a new engine new suspension new exhaust, long story short its just the original body and wheels and it sounds like a Lamborghini super cool
The DMC-12 is one of those cars I think would sell if built new today, but in the 80s style, (no touchscreen that controls everything) only with better quality parts and assembly.
One of our sons owns a DeLorean. We live in a high rise building,with some really cool cars. Lamborghini's , Ferrari's Aston's etc. But nothing on this planet gets more attention from the public than a DeLorean. It's not very fast, [ my Acrua RDX suv is faster] bur holy cow, people can't wait to come up to you when you park it at a grocery store ,or take photos while your driving down the freeway. Because the car was made prominent in the three Back to the Future movies so long ago, it has developed this unbelievable cult following that you can see this incredible delight and joy on the faces of so many people who grew up with those movies in their youth. Our son who owns one and drives it a lot says its kinda gets old with the tremendous attention it gets everywhere he drives it. Fun stuff.

When I was 12, back in 1987-88, our neighbor had a DeLorean in his driveway that I would walk by on the way to catch the schoolbus. I remember he once left a sandwich sitting on the center console for a solid week.
Like literally, every shorts he makes is just about his delorean. Sure its pretty cool and all, but after seeing a lot of his videos is starts to get annoying
Always close by the stainless steel. The window trim will eventually wear and fade: replacing that whole piece is expensive. Its cheaper to wipe the stainless down now and then.
He looks like that one guy in every other movie that constantly goes on vacations, runs a scam business, and drinks nothing but alcohol in every scene.
I read that a some of the deloreans from the earlier years, I think, had improperly adjusted door strikers that make them much harder to close, as well as potentially improperly tensioned torsion bars.
If I had that car I’d much rather find vinyl wrap to match the side door swipe. Cut out a small piece for each door and put it inside the door handle, and align it with the black OEM stripe. Then i would just use that to close the door lol
"I'd like to register a complaint, some grease monkey left prints all over my door" type of guy 😂 had a customer complain about this too, and my hands were clean not grease marls but regular finger marks... he still wanted me to touch the car with gloves and a rag like I had leprosy...
Hopefully someday you will be able to answer this question for me in your very unique way, which is the reason why I keep watching your videos, anyhow, isn’t the DeLorean seriously under powered?
If I ever make it big on the lottery. I'm going to hand my notice into work with style. I'm going to do it in a DeLorean a car that has caught my imagination nearly all my life.
I towed a Delorean once. I was towing it to a Delorean restoration place in Bellevue, WA. I first showed up to pick it up in a Wrecker. That's when I found out they are not magnetic. I had to leave and return with a flatbed. I remember being in the suicide lane with my hazards on, and some black dude yelled out "hey Doc!" lol. I also remember the amazing feeling of being surrounded by dozens of other complete/incomplete Deloreans. Good times.
