Thank you very much for all your great work on this case (and for your deep dive on the Missy Bevers one, too.) I really appreciate your intense attention to detail because it helps me sort through the flotsam and jetsam in this case. Purely from the standpoint of wanting justice for Abby and Libby-and that absolutely includes Richard Allen being fairly respresented in court-I truly hope that his defense team has alternate strategies, especially since they've been paid almost half a million dollars so far. If the defense requests a continuance again or Allen agrees to a plea bargain on the table, I think it would be reasonable to assume that the defense didn't develop any alternate strategies beyond the Odinism theory.

One juror does nothing for Rick other than Hung Jury - retrial. He needs all 12 for an exoneration, not guilty - go free etc, so trying to merely convince “one” doesn’t do anything for him, long term

The Casey Anthony jury had their hands tied because the state did not offer manslaughter and the prosecution did not prove beyond a reasonable doubt murder 1. Lots of DAs learned a lesson from that trial.

Defense still has plenty of wiggle room with time line differences, witness #4 description of RA and 1960's car, unspent bullet validity, chain of custody; Libby's phone pinging after 4am the next day, etc.

The genetic genealogy costs, this means DNA was found. We know its not Richard Allen's. Holdman testified there was not DNA connecting Allen. Whose is it? Where was it found ? That is important, right?

The other info only really became available to cars like that when my ford touch was introduced later on... Basically, I have a hard time every time someone talks about Odinists in the context of the Delphi case as if they were an actual religious group - please remember, they are a prison gang. Of course there are people out there who practice pagan religions, but uniting as a group behind a “religion” in prison is different. Of course, every organized group has its rituals such as greetings or the way they do certain things together, but these are not about religion, but about unity, and unity is the way to project power behind bars. And what do criminal gangs do? Yes, they commit crimes in many ways and forms. So in the Delphi case, if someone rejects Odinism, do so for the right reason, not on the grounds that “that wasn’t a ritual.” Because nobody believes that. Have you ever wondered why guards wear Odin patches at work during their prison shifts? There is a very real and simple explanation: the guards use these patches to show that they are on the side of the Odinists - not necessarily in the way that they are a member of the group, but in the way: "I may be the one who has the keys to this building, but I am not your enemy. You do your thing, just let me do my job. There is no need to hurt me"

Ultimately all that counts is that he is proven guilty beyond all reasonable doubt. The prosecution case is weak, I’m not surprised they want to keep the discussion on these statements which we haven’t heard and don’t know the context. Timelines, evidence custody, conflicting witness statements, none of it is strong or do you disagree Tom? Taking away Rick’s statements before and after arrest, what has LE done to show it’s him?

For future reference, if you want to get away with murder, summon the victim to the location under false pretenses, be seen near the crime scene and confess to being there, bring your dad along and make sure both of your vehicles are seen by numerous witnesses and have one of them break down on the side of the road and seen by police who ask the public for information about it, be sure to set a long track record of severe violence against women and blackmailing girls just like the murder victims to obtain child sexual abuse materials, utilize the same social media account to determine that a nearly identical victim is home alone so you can climb through their window in a ski mask, and finally confess to the murder and tell the cops you tossed the murder weapon in a different river than the one you actually tossed it in. They’ll search, not find it, and declare you innocent. Finally, everyone will forget all the glaring details that make it clear you are involved and just ignore the attempted murder of another child.

I'm pretty sure it was Pat Cicero Blood Analysis guy who just stated Abby was dressed, but her pants were partially undone. There wasn't any indication that she had been undressed and re-dressed, it looks more like she was in the middle of being forced to disrobe and then attacked, She had been borrowing some of Libby's clothes after the sleepover and was dressed that way when they headed out. She wasn't redressed. That was because the fact her hoodie had been soaked in pooled blood, so they know she was dressed as she died, and died in a laying position, and they can tell this from the blood pattern alone. She was wearing two bras, but I think one was more like a croptop kinda thing - it's not hugely abnormal to do that. again it was beneath the bloodstained hoodie so it wasn't anything that had been put on her afterwards for staging

They're just going to have to discredit all the evidence. They don't need to provide alternative theory... So the defendants that HAVE, in many of the last cases have all lost. And wishing for a hung jury just means another trial. It's not a NOT GUILTY. It usually gets a guilty next time around.
