Delta Air Lines Airbus A321-271NX (321NEO) cabin walk through tour. This aircraft holds 20 first class 42 comfort plus and 132 main cabin seats for a total of 194 passengers.
we flew jfk to vegas last month 1st class. Paid for the upgrade from comfort +. Prior to boarding, JFK on Memorial Day weekend, we saw hundreds (literally) at TSA check point. 1st, pre-check, and business were diverted to where I had 8 people in front of me. The seat on 1st was great, though the cheap earplugs were a disappointment. (I'll bring my own buds next time.) Food and drink was fantastic (fresh cut fruit, omelet or french toast, etc, with silverware and glasses. Unlimited snacks and drinks. FA's were great. 13" touchscreen IFE. 5.5 hrs, so we enjoyed our 40th anniversary.
I just flew on my first 321neo recently and it was AWESOME in first class. Every other plane has to come up to this new standard, but some still have tiny, non responsive little Kindle-sized TVs that s**k. This video says it all!
Yeah, just flew on two of their 737-800s in economy, and I agree. Dated, but actually quite comfy for a 4 or so hour flight, even in economy! It’s not just Delta, and not even just planes: it seems every mode of transportation, except maybe personal vehicles, is downgrading the seating in terms of comfort on newer models!
Glad it helped. Seatguru has not updated anything in a very long time. They still have the 737-700, MD88, MD90 and 777 which have all been retired for about 3 years.
