By the way it is a General Electric CF6 due to it missing a single white line on spinner as seen on PW4170. Characteristic of General Electric CF6 is that it's very silent on cruise but loud on take off knew this because Philippine Airlines used to have the same exact engine as this 2015 build DL A330-300. If you want a Pratt and Whitney version on the opposite side of the Pacific Ocean you would be looking at partner Korean Air A330-300/-200.

@@FlyHigh214 No, you're right. That's a Pratt & Whitney PW4000! Older P&W engines came with spirals similar to these. For example the PW2000 on the 757. This doesn't sound like a CF6 at all.

This isn’t a Rolls Royce…our older 330’s don’t have those.

Probably they were heavy so more power was need to lift off or it was a short run. There’s a lot of reason why the pilot will have to do a higher power Take off
