I am so glad you did the video , I did the same thing as you a year ago and until today when I watched your video, I didn't know if I had done it right ! I have 4 tunes for different types of pellets and love the gun You can be in a barn with one speed and pellet then in seconds swap to a different setting for faster and heavier pellets for going out into the fields, no guessing needed just swop settings on the gun and for me change the profile in the atn and away I go, fantastic Keep up the informative shows, love them👍👍👍

I never thought about approaching tuning this way. It is the same principle called "bracketing" used in mountain bike/motorcycle suspension tuning. I'm on the fence about buying the DW or Epoch. Daystate seems to be more proven but to your point documentation and support are not well sorted. Skout is early to the game and has their hurdles to get over for the next couple of years. Awesome video I don't own one but it's good to know .... I'm kinda glad I didn't buy one no offense it's kinda hard tuning a regular air gun much less an electronic gun very interesting ..... in other videos I've seen all they say is to select the pellet or slug you want to shoot and the gun will do it for you I didn't know about the voltage setting thanks for sharing bsafe buddy 👍
You bet, I would also put out another video on actually the auto pilot mode. The AVS is now so good that shooters are now ignoring the manual settings. In Fact the auto mode is so good to use that it adapts to changing environments with temps, altitudes, humidity ect. Really something I will talk about in a few videos. It is a game changer but I get this video is more about the individual tuning. Thanks for watching Chris......

I switched my rifle over to .177 a long time ago. If i remember it was like 160 bar and i just kept it at 915 fps or so. The max for the rifle at the time was about 935 to 955 it had the old less powerful valve. Wish I could help more.
Hi, very good video. Two months ago I got an Delta wolf 5.5. I Trying slugs, but it is difficult . My best result was using 0.2205" 25 gr, 910 FPS. What slug diameter measure do you got a good result ? Regards
sadly i have yet to find any slug in .22 that works well. Just an fyi. Still searching. For .177 it is the jsb knockout. For .30 cal it is the FX slugs.
@@Fhobbies all my slug groups were so bad I did not even measure. I usually just go through all the different slugs I have to see if any will group well. On this barrel nothing was close enough to even call accurate so I just quit. Hope that helps.
Since I'm real close to three 10 meter ranges; do you think the Delta/Alpha would be able to tune low enough to shoot a .177 wadcutter on a 10m range? Thanks!
That one not sure about. I mean I have had the rifle at like 12 fpe of energy but not sure how low it can be programed down to. I assume you are wanting like 600 fps in a light pellet ? I cant really say and my rifle is setup for 30 cal right now.
Usually 10 meter guns like feinwerkbau and anschutz 9015 have high twist rate barrels and 12fpe or less. If you are shooting 10meters id look at Anschutz 9015, walther lg400, steyr challenge. Even air arms hft500 is a great rifle at lower power and 1/2 price of the others I mentioned
@@ryanlandry6919 I have the .177 hp model... IT shoots anywhere from 8 fpe to about 25 fpe... It shoot really nice at lower powers... compared to a field target rifle like the .177 FTP i prefer that rifle.
I shot the very first 100 yard sub inch group ….on you tube . It’s horrid to tune and it’s not a great gun . It’s not for me buddy . They have made this a whole bunch better now
