Delta Force Hawk Ops Gameplay is here, is this the new Battlefield? Let's play the Pre-Alpha Tech Test and check out the Breakthrough style game mode. Leave a LIKE and a comment, thanks for watching.
Looks pretty good but still not a fan of the operator fad that gaming companies are clinging onto. Just make character customization or just have a helmet on everyone. It's weird playing as someone and shooting your clone on the other team.
@@MrMoose-bl7jv it kinda doesnt have its own identity, everything is just based in 2042's image. And I love that it idolizes 2042 and makes it look good and 2042 is maybe one of my favourite battlefields, but its not a great base/style to begin of anyway with the specialist ideas. Also it could also make 2042 look bad. 2042 isnt obviously perfect clearly but i dont know if im ready for this...
@@luru112because it has literally nothing new compared to battlefield. While I was watching this I was thinking I am looking at a bf 2042 mod lol. This is the reason why healing device looks so hilarious
@collinbarnard207 damn you must of just started playing shooters.. how the fuck is this generic it looks great.. I've been playing since ps1 days I've played preety much every major shooter and this is great.. Yall aren't real gamers.. stay miserable.. The Game is also free lmaoooo
@@gamingeuphoria7928 You don’t see how this is generic? That made me smirk lol. I’ve been playing FPS games since Doom was released. You must be so confused as to why everyone else is talking about how generic this game is 😂 you’ve never played around with engines like Unreal, have you? If you did, you’d be able to recognize how easy a game like this is to make. SO easy. You think this looks amazing? Lmfao… I know people who could make a game like this in a week’s time.
How i miss you, How i miss you, How i miss my delta force... Black Hawk Down was the best shooter that i've played when i was young, i miss it and team sabre, those missions, those moments... it's sad that not many people know about this glorious game
It's surprisingly well polished, honestly. Everything looks gorgeous. If someone told me this was Battlefield 6 (or just from a bigger, more established brand), I'd be hard pressed not to believe them. I do wish it wasn't hero/operator based - that trope is old. But the rest on offer here looks pretty damn good so far.
For real! This hero near future shooter meta needs to go. It absolutely kills any shred of immersion. I understand that immersion is not the goal of games like this but just think it would be so cool to have a BF4 clone with modern graphics and mechanics. Just good o'l fashion faction on faction modern day shooter.
Most gamers would probably hate this but it would be pretty cool to have smoke grenades that actually function like smoke grenades. They don’t explode into a ball of cloud. That means there would have to be a wind component to the game which would make sniping that much more challenging too. Sounds fun to me.
You're right they would, the casual player doesn't even use them as it is. Which is frustrating when you can easily push and take objs with smoke. So making it just that much more tedious would just be a barrier.
Dude, it's an arcade game, this kind of ultra realism sucks from a game design perspective. We need a fun and balanced FPS, it doesn't need to be a MilSim game like Arma, neither a hero shooter with flying ladies like Battlefield.
Honestly super impressed by how this looks to be playing. Didn’t expect much and still not a fan of hero/ability nonsense (mainly wall hack ability and lack of distinct team uniforms), but looks like it’s actually solid.
I was impressed until i saw abilities and it instantly put me off. This ability invested market rn is so annoying every game has abilities in it. Just keep it simple i want to hop in and shoot some around not have to worry about someone zooming around at lightspeed because they have super speed abilities and hipfire 3 tap everyone with a meta build from day one.
@@jimmy5516Same. I’m watching this next to my wife and I literally rolled my eyes and groaned to my wife when Jack did the speed ability lol I’m so sick of everyone having some special abilities they can choose in games these days
agree. the part in the cave in the vehicle with the minigun with all the explosions. the ground strikes from the apache's rockets were straight eye candy
@benjaminburns4412 It's pretty nice for keeping your squad together more. At least in bfv, the revive is slow enough where you would still want to kill the enemies before reviving your squad mate, or else they can just rush up and kill you still
Gunplay feels very cod like and the running animation is pretty much the same as in mw2, doesn’t mean it’s bad tho. Can definitely see these things attracting more players
^ this. The trend nowadays (and it's been like that for a while) is the operator aesthetic and mo, not just another soldier for the meat grinder. For better, or for worse. I myself lean more into the one more fodder for the cannon but I won't lie, this package seems appealing to me, where bf2042 was not, for me personally.
@@butteredbiscuits1 nope, the devs were quite literally using MW2019's and MWII's assets. Only recently did they make their own reload animations. But I'm pretty sure that there's still some CoD assets left in there. These are CoD Mobile developers after all.
@mattc7420 you know damn well what I mean. cringey voiced characters who are designed to be sold as skins. 50 lads going. "You alri? Bloody ell mate" will get really tired, really fast. Even seeing 3 of the same guy on the screen at the same time is annoying. We've been over this trend for years now
Literally just looks like Battlefield. In fact, it looks so much like Battlefield that I had to do a double to take because I thought it WAS Battlefield at first. Truthfully, though... it doesn't really do anything for me. It doesn't look "bad", but it just looks like more of the same thing that's been available for years and it's honestly feeling played out at this point.
Honestly, this is exactly what I want from this game. I want a more traditional Battlefield experience, and this seems to tick a lot of boxes. I need to get my hands on it before any final thoughts but from this video, it looks very promising to what I want. I'm unsure on some of the abilities but overall, this looks great to me. I am definitely concerned with it being free to play though. There's a lot of baggage that comes with free to play games so we will see if they ruin the experience with a ton of MTX nonsense or pay to win items.
You’ve got to love the weapon setup in the beginning. The aiming devise mounted on top of the iron sights, which was very typical 90’s. (When the US had trouble in Mogadishu)
25:51 In case you're wondering, the CAR-15 was the name Colt gave the AR-15 back in the 60s and 70s, though the term was most commonly used for the Colt Commando (XM177), which was in many ways a precursor to the M4, with the same idea of making a shorter rifle for closer range firefights, as well as making it easier to carry for the soldiers than the longer and slightly heavier M16. It was most prominently seen in the hands of spec ops units such as Delta Force and the Navy SEALS. The model in game is either that or the Colt Model 605, which is very similar
The CAR-15 is its own thing. It was not the de facto name for the AR-15. It was only the Colt Commando, which is also not the same as an XM177. Weird nomenclature, but the CAR-15 Commando was the halfway point between the XM177 and the XM4 which eventually became the M4. And I actually am a bit wrong. CAR-15 and Colt Commando as well as the blended “CAR-15 Commando” are all nicknames for the Colt 733. It was also sometimes referred to as the “M16 Carbine.” Sorry for going autism mode
2042 failed because it tried to make battlefield a hero shooter. Delta force doesn’t need to be battlefield. They can be battlefield like hero shooter. + They actually had better implementation of ”heroes” than 2042 now. Delta force is also free to play so I really can’t complain. I just need it to have Gyro aiming on Ps5
Why are other shooters like apex and valorant allowed to be hero shooters but these games cant? Even bf1 had gadget like heros that is similar to battlefront 2… Your argument doesnt make sense
All i want is bf3/4 again. Why does every modern game have to have wacky abilities and ugly characters that stand out. Can't we just have realistic weaponry and clearly defined factions? Fucking hell.
Honestly, it looks smooth af! I have put games like bf on the shelf for very long time, but this game could bring me back. I cant wait to see how the extraction and black hawk down campaign is gonna be. HYPED!
The Delta Force series was what got me into multiplayer in 2001- DF2 and Black Hawk Down had some MEMORABLE servers, and the fact that the maps where fully customizable made it so unique, every squad had their own server and maps, and STILL to this day my old squad from Delta Force 2 is STILL around and playing Battlefield 2042
Black Hawk Down was one of the first shooters i played, that and Quake 3 Arena. Delta Force back then was so nice, playing on only sniper servers( EuroSnipers, RealSnipers, and SniperCustom) Big maps and i remember thinking that the graphics were so amazing. I miss those times
@@DFHScouT I mean, we get a remake of the Black Hawk Down campaign at least - but for MP: yeah, there won't be anything that doesn't make big numbers at the end of the day, so it gotta be "modern standard" on that part.
@@danniboulund7919 Yes, i agree Quake 3 Arena, and Team Arena, were and still are my favourite 1st person shooters, high speed movement, and skill needed to actually play them, unlike Halo games, where you can get shot 3 times going up a flight of stairs, and the jump mechanic being so slow as well. Yet people love these games, i can't see why, they are so boring.
In my opinion: Slower movement +1 Familiar and easy to understand UI +1 Battlefield-type modes +1 Gun Play from MoH 2010 +1 Gun customization +1 Existance of some destruction +1 Vehicle gameplay +1 Great voice acting (screams and calls) +1 Those two maps so far (especially Crash) +1 Hero abilities -1 Weird mix of new and old -1 Operators=clones in both teams -1 Sound of some guns and explosions -1 Explosion effects -1 Plastic feel of the future gadgets - 1 Vehicle steering feel -1 Reviving everyone (not tide to the class) - 1
Revive is not for everyone. It's like buddy revives in Battlefield 5 - players of any class can revive their squad mates but for other players you should use the support class
This might seem strange, but having everyone wearing the same damn uniform, more or less, at least in colors, is a HUGE plus for me. No ridiculous outfits, well, at least for now.
I thought it was weird seeing him getting kills with a car-15 and then pulling out that bizarre grenade launcher ability. Definitely falls into the weird mix of new and old category to me.
When 2042 released the main reason I stopped playing was because it was damn near impossible to fight other infantry because tanks and helis would just kill you over and over and the maps are too big so you can't avoid it. BF V 's infantry combat was way more fun imo.
Gunplay and vehicles look surprisingly good. I was prepared to hate the hero shooter elements, but it doesn't look too bad honestly. Looks like it'll be quite fun, just hope they try to keep the abilities somewhat realistic, and balanced. Loving that they have the classic battlefield classes.
Its funny watching these games as someone old enough to remember when games started becoming popular. People mostly already know how to play game when they first start. Back in the day for launches almost everyone was bad.
Its good to see that it doesn't seem to have grappling hooks, fly suits and other nonsense that makes campers sit everywhere. And that there's actual recoil instead of just lasering everything. It seems like they have a good foundation to build from. Now lets see if the netcode is any good and whether it is sufficient to enjoy for more than a few hours. Excited to learn about the play test and hope it goes well. I'm due for another awesome shooter.
Wasn’t interested before after seeing it at summer games fest but I gotta admit this looks a lot better and the fact it is free is even better. Definitely will be checking this one out
So pretty much based off of every content creator's recent positive reactions from this test. This game is definitely on track to release fully this year I presume?!
Finally, let’s be honest, dice and ea are no longer capable, they simply don’t have what it takes anymore. So I’m excited for any studio to take the reins.
10:55 Its developed by Tencent. usually, if the game's very popular, they will giving constant update and support also milking the hell out of it. PUBG Mobile players will understand what im saying so just pray they will listen to the players for this one
Aww tencent? Tht makes sense now. They r known to make games tht look a lot like other games lol they even took some of the bad stuff from battlefield. They did this with a game tht looks a lot like eft also lol
This game has a lot of potential. They should make it less clunky and movement to be a bit better. Gunfights need more improvement to have more potential. It does lean a bit more on the Battlefield side of things, but they should compete against CoD to shut down CoD completely and make the hackers dissipate.
It looks like a military shooter that, despite having some futuristic gadgets, takes itself seriously. I think the thing missing from 2042 wasn’t graphics or visuals in general. But it felt like a cartoon of itself. This game is similar but has a better tone.
this, i play 2042 a ton. worst part are the damn characters, dying and seeing Woody's face takes you out of the immersion. at least this game there are actual soldiers and actual yells and screams of war going on
@@Twirlyman it does look better tho. Bf2042 always had this cartoony graphics to em. But ima guess this game might be a bit more popular since its free; so im guessing 5-10k concurrent players
This game looks really good, honestly. That recoil on the mounted .50 was insane though. As someone who has fired one for real, they are a lot easier to fire than what this game shows, but I get it for balance.
Looking at the most popular comments seems more like it's a very unpopular decision, and unlike 2042 because this is F2P people will try it and then nope out instead of being expected to pay and then pay some more for the privilege of paying for cringey "heroes"
