Always said this song is about Delta having a dig at all her knockers over her 20 year career in the music industry and believe me there have been some, she been through a lot but everytime she’s knocked down she comes back better. She a phenomenal song writer and musician, she plays the piano exquisitely it’s a part of her as you will see if you react to more of her songs, she gets a lot flack because of her natural beauty. I have heard most woman and some man say that she only got where she was because of the way she looks but that could’nt be further from the truth, she as worked very hard to get where she has especially with her health issues with surviving cancer early in her career and in 2018 with surgery that damaged a nerve in her tongue so she had to really work hard at learning to talk so she could singing again and to a singer that is everything because it’s there livelihood , the video below is showing her going through this all when she was in the hospital right through to her singing her new song Paralysed off her album, which she wrote during this ordeal. We the public never knew this was happening to her till months after it happen.. the list of songs Delta has to her CV is endless, while she has gone to the US on a few occasions just this year was the recent touring with the Back Streets Boys I can’t understand why she hasn’t made it big over they. Delta has all the talent and then some. I think it’s because they think the Beyonce, Taylor Swift and the Miley Cyrus’s etc are the bee knees and no one else is better.. It’s very hard for Australian artists to crack the US we have extraordinary talent in this country that sings rings around the US artists, and they all sing live and can sing.. but for some reason they get the door shut on them, maybe it’s because our artist aren’t into selling their soul to the big executive producers etc and don’t go for all the flamboyant stuff that the Us stars are known for. They just go on stage and sing as that what we go to see not the stage production. Plus our artists don’t like to be dictated to what they can and can’t sing and take all the money like they do. Quite a few have told them to stick it over the years. Anyway enjoy the rabbit hole of one Australia’s most accomplished singing artist.. Delta has had a long successful career starting when she signed by Sony at age 15 and unfortunately had to battle cancer when she was 18 in the middle of releasing her album that spent 29 non consecutive weeks on the top of the charts. She is so inspirational in also having a nerve paralysed in her tongue during surgery and having to learn all over again how to speak let alone sing, but has gone from strength to strength after that recently opening up for the Backstreet Boys on that leg of her World Tour.
Im so greatful that Delta is getting more recognition especially in the United States 🇺🇸. I discovered Delta's music back in 2003, then moved to Australia 🇦🇺 in 2004-2006.
Hey, thanks for this reaction. Just to clarify, Delta is big in Australia & New Zealand but not really known anywhere else and that is probably why you have not heard of her. She was a judge on the Australian version of the voice.
Delta is touring the UK at the moment....and had a very successful tour of the US as support act for Back Street Boys. She is the most beloved female singer here in Australia...also has done some acting too. So many great songs...hope to see more of Delta on your Channel Anthony. ps I think you'd love "Heavy" a song Delta wrote about her failed relationships etc. Hi from Australia
Delta is an amazing talent who has had her share of battles & haters. That happens when people are succesfull, it shouldn't, but it does.I love the message in this song, as I recently told someone who didn't want to forgive me for something I had done over 20 years ago, my reply was, it took me 10 years to forgive myself & now that I've done that, I don't need anyone's forgiveness.
She hits such amazing high notes in this one. Maybe he thinks it's not really her natural voice and talent because these days a lot of stuff is done to voices in the studio?? Or maybe just more interested in the rap. Anyway, we know how amazing her voice really is.
