The TRACT TORIC is an American Company that can hold its own against the better Delta Stryker HD...They have same Magnification..I own Both the Stryker & the Tract Toric..They are dead Even
Just bought the Delta Javelin today. Have not seen or touched 1. Have played with a Stryker. So I have no problems buying this. Parallax adjustment not a bother, using it for prs style. Set at infinity and go for it, not going use more than 15 magnification in anyway. Turrets, not bothered about turn indicator as prs is maybe max 800m. Still within 1 revolution, I think. Getting it next week. Just to let you know. In South Africa this is costing me more than my monthly salary. Ouch.
Fantastic video about the Delta javelin...wich I also consider as a good option for me! But I have another "love" wich is a IOR VALDADA RECON 4.5-28-50....the beast of the best scopes in the world! But the price is twice as the javelin! I need help to decide! I intend benchrest 100-200-300 meters anda long range 800-1000 meters! For me important is glass quality, assistance and turrets precision.
Sounds like the Delta Stryker HD 4.5-30x56 FFP MIL would be a better choice for your types of shooting than the Delta Javelin 4.5-30x56 FFP MIL (which I use for PRS 22LR Long Range at 200m to 600m with +40 MOA/+12 MRAD of cant using canted rail mount and canted rings). See the various review videos on the Delta Stryker HD on RU-vid.
It is a good scope for the money but I received the Javelin from Optics Trade with a sunshade that didn’t fit. When I asked for a replacement shade I got no reply.
We're sorry to hear that, we'll look into it! We apologize for the late reply; we are currently swamped with emails, as there were holidays here in Slovenia. If you wrote us an email, we'll try to reply as soon as possible and resolve the issue!
hello, my name is Alfonso from Spain, I am about to buy a scope, here in my country I am offered the meopta optika6 5-30x56 with mildot3 reticle for the same price as the delta javelin 4'5-30x56, which should i choose? Thank you very much, your opinion would be of great help to me.
Designing a product in one country and then outsourcing is NOT smart, it’s starving your own country of work and just using cheap labour. This will blow Element out of the water.
So, if you were offered the same product produced in Asia vs in your country, would you pay 1400 eur instead of 1000? I highly doubt that. In other words, people don't really care where quality products are made really.
