I wanted to try more King Spade, and my friend (who wishes to remain anonymous) wanted to try her hand at Queen, so I threw this together. Twitter - / jake_the_silent
“Honey, I can’t find Lancer!” “Cannot find memory file: Lancer” “ThIs iSn’T a JoKe.” “This isn’t, but you might be.” “…” “…” “…” “When will you get a new throne?” “I’m not gonna. Also how do you not remember your own son!?” (Baby Lancer cries under a pile of pillows in the living room) “Never mind, honey. Found him!” “Found who?”
And Queen is rather self-centered and it’s difficult for her to process other’s wants above her own. They love each other, but it wouldn’t help them to be in a relationship again before they grow up a little emotionally first.
Something interesting about the fact that the king and queen knowing each-other is that it either implies that all dark worlds must have existed simultaneously, or that all of their memories and personalities are fabricated at the point of creation. If each dark world were truly bring created in the instant a Lightner pierces the ground with a blade, then it would be impossible for anyone from the card kingdom to know anyone in the cyber world. I do get the odd suspicion that these backstories may be getting implanted into them though, much like the Last Thursdayism theory. The other possibility is that all dark worlds DO exist in the same realm, and can be walked between the same way Lightners walk from the school to the Librarby. The only difference may be that the distances are scaled massively. This could serve as one explanation as to how Ralsei freely travels between them, though I'm still leaning more to the idea that he is a fabrication of Kris as well. We'll have to find out what happens in the next chapters though.
Omg I just had a revelation... What IF dark worlds can actually coexist together and the whole "The Roaring" thing is fake and Ralsei made it up to stop Kris from opening too many Dark Fountains?? But I still don't know exactly why he would want that... To make HIS dark fountain the only one standing? I guess time will tell
@@annguerrero9988 Hmm.. maybe it's possible that dark fountains don't actually CREATE the world, but instead simply create a portal TO them. Although I do find your idea of Ralsei trying to have the only dark world interesting.. he was VERY suspicious in chapter 2, and the idea of "recruiting" darkners is weird. Why are we recruiting them? That's the kind of word you'd use if you were assembling a team... or an army, perhaps? If he actually IS assembling ab army, I wonder what it could mean for the plot of deltarune to come.
The idea of opening a portal to the dark world is a really interesting theory... But maybe we have our own dark world inside each of us? Nah probably not
@@GameJam230 a bit late of a response but I don’t think the fountains act like portals. It’s been implied in both chapters by various characters that the fountain had created their world. Interestingly, however, there is no implication that the darkner’s themselves were brought to life by the fountain. So maybe all the darkners are just stuck in a void of shadow until a fountain is created? Or perhaps something more sinister? Idk. The Ralsei theory, that’s more complicated. I feel like it’s too early to jump to the conclusion that Ralsei is the evil one and is trying to be the only fountain existing. He DOES seem to have more to him then just being a supporting character though. And his interactions with Kris is extremely interesting and strange. The fact that he is seemingly the only Darkner to know about the “dangers” of breaking the balance IS truly the strangest part of him though (I’m not sure if there was an in-universe explanation for this, if there was I didn’t see it.) Even the Queen immediately backed out of her plan simply after learning it. King also didn’t seem to know this, only going off the Knights action like Queen had been doing. It’s very strange.
So like in Minecraft how about 8 (I think) blocks in the nether = 1 block in the overworld, what could be right next door in the light world could be a hundred miles away in the dark world.
I saw a comic where Rouxls, Queen, and Lancer were playing catch. What really went down was Queen was hurling Lancer at Rouxls like it was fast-pitch baseball, but Lancer seemed to enjoy it
the voices are amazing, but i think they should sound a bit more enthusiastic during some parts like when king was yelling at queen or when rouxls was dashing away
Yeah the whole queaniebeanie and kingywingy thing, along with Queen getting King cashews from the store, I think this implies that they are still together. Also it would be kinda dumb if they weren't We already have a actual divorced couple in deltarune (and it makes even less sense here than it did in undertale...) I don't think Toby would have another. Everyone's looking at this as if they hate each other, all I see is some funny roasts, that doesn't mean hatred
Voices tier list (in my opinion) S - King (just perfection) A - Queen B - Rouxls C - Susie (sorry but I always imagined her voice a bit lower but it's still great)
Oh. my. god I am not one to beg but PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do a dub of King in chapter one! This is the absolute best voice i have heard for King!
I feel the Queen voice could use a little of the "snobbish, yet dramatic" tone Toby emphasises in her laugh. As is she sounds a bit too monotone. everyone else's voice is on the point!
I hope in chapter 3 we get something like that meaby someone will say who (whatever is the name of the main villain of chapter 3) yeah we already met him his your neighbour now
if the queen truly is lancers mom, then 1: how did they manage to meet if they come from different dark worlds? 2: assuming that darkners reproduce through normal means, how the fuck did the king impregnate a robot? 3: it is implied that being in the wrong dark world causes you to turn to stone, so did the king have to speed date every time they met?
I don't think they've been married, specially since Lancer doesn't look anything like Queen. They probably had something in their past but I doubt Queen is Lancer's biological mother. Cause first she's s freaking computer and second cause that'd undermine some of Queen's writing as a mother for all of the protagonists
So wait, I'm confused; is Queen Lancer's mom, or isn't she? Granted, I know this is all head-canon, but I'd still like to know...more importantly, I'd like to know why Ralsei and Susie had no reaction to it.
