[Deltarune Fanmade] - Directed by Animation (Conner Encounter) 

Honestly Conner’s a lot more unique than the secret boss concepts we’ve seen so far. Every character is trying too hard to be like Spamton and Jevil, being a quirky little fellow. I like this concept a lot simply due to the fresh feeling it has and the interpretation of freedom they have.

This guy's so precious and his expressions are actually adorable. It seems like his design changes in his boss fight/when he becomes a goner. I hope his mental state improves post boss battle...

now i'm terrified because i thought about the weird route he's already feeling down but having a serial killer on the loose really doesn't seem like it'd help with his mental state

OKAY I ACTUALLY LOVE THIS!! No one can actually hear him so he can’t communicate… And he’s actually an adorable ball of anxiety on top of that. Poor guy. We must protect him!!

Not sure if this was the intent, but I think it's a cool idea that- since Conner seems like he's based on silent toons, nobody can hear him talk. But because we the player can see text- much like text they'd use IN said silent films- we can 'hear' him loud and clear- as can Kris, seemingly.

I wouldnt even want to fight him either, he's just a harmless bean! Looking back at the secret boss fight it's heartbreaking to see him with his colors all lost and with the same desperate face he had just a moment begging to not fight.

I love how different Connor's themes are, especially compared to the insanity of THE WORLD REVOLVING and BIG SHOT, its a much more tranquil but still upbeat and "boss battle" like.

Since no one has done it yet, the Wingdings at the end say “SOON HIS DAY WOULD BECOME LIVING HELL”

Love how the normal encounter purposefully hides the don't forget/freedom motif to conceal his identity as a secret boss

The music and animation are great! Also, Conner is adorable!!! He deserves a warm hug after no one being able to listen to him for so long. I hope he gets to feel better post secret/goner battle. I also loved the concept of a secret boss that meets gaster (or whoever it is that speaks about freedom) after we meet them - the before and after comparison is really cool to see!

I would imagine that when conner becomes a goner, instead of traditional speech bubbles, his dialogue will cover the entire screen like the dialogue found in old silent films.

Connor is one of (if not) my favorite fanmade secret boss, I love the old cartoon theme he has And I hope there's something like that in chapter 3

I LOVE CONNER, It's literally one of my favorite Secret boss ideas, it's just so different from the other secret bosses, and i love it for that (It also has a great design)

woah thats good, like REALLY good. The concept, the character, everything feels so official. Might just be my favourite secret boss concept to date.

Conner's design and concept are cool, nice to have some character concepts which weren't referenced in Deltarune and don't try to copy Jevil and Spamton's design or traits

The two things BlueLonerWolf is good at is making banger and also great battle ideas that i want to see playable

I imagine that if conner got a happy ending back in castle town he would give one big giant bear hug out to all of the secret bosses out of pure joy *_-the ceo of 💀_*

This is amazing! I love the emphasis that only we (and I suppose Kris as well) can only understand Conner. I have a couple of questions if you don't mind. First, is it cool if I port this to SoundCloud as well (Cause I'm a bit of a stickler for symmetry and the such)? Second, is the background supposed to imply that these events take place in the dark world that Kris made? Cause I always thought that, based on the soul trait (switch) that it would be an extra dark world for those who play on the switch (or at the very least is Conner an extra secret boss?) Third, why didn't Susie catch onto to what was going on? Like, I can understand the whole "The Player can only understand Conner" thing, but couldn't the assumption have been made that Kris knows how to read lips? I hope you have a good day, afternoon, or night whenever you are reading this (also it may take some time for me to port [if I'm allowed to] cause I like to try and make custom art for the cover).

I really like the detail of Susie having shadow over her eyes, like in chapter one. this fight would most definitely be an attempt to calm Susie down.

Alright, I came up with a little head canon of mine, make any suggestion in the comments: I imagine that Conner is a film wheel owned by asgore and toriel, that was shortly forgotten after kris came along.In the dark world, he was a star (Who may or may not be ICE-E's rival, and yes, I made up that they were a cartoon before) in the dark world, who was overshadowed after ICE-E decided to buys a pizza company.He would stay in the shadows, observing everyone(cause he can't speak and is afraid of being abandoned again) for many years.Once he meets kris, he immediately notices that he's different from other lightners( Cause Kris or us, can read his dialogue). After meeting gaster, he has an existential crisis that he will always be watched by gods(us) and that he has no control of his fate. His interpretation of freedom is by...killing himself...He asks kris to collect gears and balloons to get his steamboat working again, where he can look over his favorite place one last time.The battle will be timed, where the soul mechanic will be "JOY" from the mad mew mew fight from undertale, where you'll have to convice him to not kill himself.After the battle, he would decide to "comfort" kris, soon realizing that he is also being controlled.In a snowgrave route-like path, he will come and try to stall kris for the other darkners to escape, he knows he can't win, so he will use his last moments as a hero.And that it, tell me your thoughts (also, he kinda reminds me of a depressed version of Pete's son, P.J)

This made me feel more sympathetic for the guy. The way he wants to warn the duo but they couldn't hear him, leading to a misunderstanding that causes the battle, even though he doesn't want to fight.
