Man, I've heard a buttload of different interpretations of Spamton's voice, and a lot of them are really good. But all the credit to Wes for using all those different voice filters in real time, and doing the voice, _and_ playing the game all at the same time. It's amazing.

Wes's spamtom neo was some of the best voice acting chops i have heard for this game in so damn long. legit chills and i was CONSTANTLY saying 'holy shit' the whole time

Man, Wes was _slaying_ it with his Spamton voicework. Doing all that work on top of a tough boss fight? Huge!

Re Ralsei's reaction to Kris freaking out: the dude has literally never had friends before, give him some slack. And like, "just don't think about the thing that's bothering you" is advice that well-meaning people unironically give, so it's not THAT weird.

All of you guys are killing it with this Deltarune playthrough. And holy crap Wes! Playing Spamtom with multiple voices it’s so damn hard; and playing at the same time?! Absolutely amazing. 🤩

Man, Wes made a really good game.. And we didn't even have any idea it was him all along!

Fun fact: If you beat Spamton with a full inventory, you can't collect his items. He then gets pissed at you for deliberately trying not to collect his items and tells you that he'll "be in his trailer".

The reason that Kris was yelling is probably to do with the whole "puppets" thing that they were talking about when it came to Spamton. Since you can tell from chapter 1 that the soul within their body allows you to control them like a puppet and they have to rip it out of their body in order to be able to walk around... although, if souls work the same way as they do in Undertale, then they can't survive without their soul for long so eventually, they're gonna have to give control back to the player eventually which keeps them stuck in a loop of constantly being controlled, probably why them talking about Spamton having no control made them mad.

This performance was amazing and well worth what it was given. It was even better if you saw it live.

Everyone’s voice acting in this one was fucking on-point, props all around! I’m still flabbergasted that Wes not only beat the secret boss in one try, but did it while juggling voicing him and fiddling with vocal effects which were used to an incredible effect. Y’all have been killin’ it, and I’m so glad you’ve been enjoying this game because my goodness do I love this game

The Yes answer to Susie checking on Kris is great because she realizes something is really wrong and the dialogue is a bit more impactful since they try to cheer Kris up instead of just smoothing the event over. I think the Yes / No responses should have been swapped

I'm surprised you decided to challenge the secret boss. It can be a real jump in difficulty if you aren't ready Though I'd say on average, they're only about as hard as undertale asgore

I think it's fair to say that Kris somehow is aware that they're being controlled by the player, and they're having none of it. At the end of chapter 1 they throw their SOUL (which can still be controlled by the player) in a cage. After the battle with Spamton Neo they're not feeling well at all, presumably because of all the talk about being a puppet against your will

Actually the machine from the basement is basically Mettaton Neo's body...which considering that Queen houses rooms which everyone's like google searches makes me wonder if that's how it ended up there. Anyways I love the Deltarune lore (ALSO WES DID SO GOOD!! I can't imagine how much work all that takes to do, especially whilst fighting!! Fantastic job!!)

The recent deltarune news had me come back to this fight, and it's still just as epic now as it was watching live. Absolute god gamer moment

Fun fact: there's some silly dialogue that happens if your inventory is full when spamton becomes an item

Wes I totally understand the whole "not being able to praise yourself" thing and self esteem issues. I struggle with the same. But remember, you are a very skilled voice actor, who does a good job coming up with character voices and you make a lot of people happy with them :D Also you seriously are a good gamer, almost no one who has played this game had died as few times as you have. Your reaction and dodge times are great. In other matters, yeah I definitely think Toby Fox was trying to put a theme of being honest with your emotions and relying on friends in this game. First chapter we have Susie learning to be emotionally vulnerable with friends and trust people in general that her friends aren't going to hurt her, and it's safe to let down a lot of walls around them (we can see her progress so much in Chapter 2 I'm so proud), and Lancer being honest and asking for help with his Dad, along with being generally happy and weird around his new friends. Then Chapter 2 we obviously have a *lot* of character development with Berdly, learning it's okay to not be right all the time, and that acknowledging your mistakes and not being seen as the smartest is fine. That shit is hard, learning to check yourself, your ego, and step down from the pedestal you and others have built up. He's still not done with that yet, but it's heading in the right direction :D And then there's Noelle, gaining confidence in her skills and slowly learning the amazing strength she has, fighting her fears and getting braver along the way. You're doing great girl. Though I think there's definitely something going on with Noelle that she hasn't told us yet.. (besides her Dad's health issues, and her older sister December)

my interpretation: spamton went crazy from the realisation that he's a character in a game. kris either has come to or is coming to a similar realisation. ralsei is aware that none of them have free will, but he thinks that dwelling on it puts you at risk of going crazy like spamton did. and so he tells everyone not to think about it, and he comes off as very suspicious. he may be in the wrong but ultimately he's not malevolent.

Who knew Wes had that flexible of vocal chords to make those sounds

I've got to ask, when you do the Snowgrave route, could you show off the glitched attack during the final boss, and how the game handles it? It would probably cost an attempt at the boss, but it's fun enough to be worth showing off at least once. (Or make it an added challenge to try and beat the boss using the glitched attack)
