Hey FreeBeat, love the content as per usual! I believe as long as the Deluge has 9V power when booting, it will correctly detect USB devices as they power on and off. If 9V power is disconnected, Deluge has to be powered off and back on with 9V connected before it will detect USB devices again. Keep churning out the tunes; can't wait for the next live show!!
Yeah. This has bit me. The Deluge needs to be turned on last. Also with some usb devices, I find I need to tweak how much the velocity modulates patches so that the sounds don’t clip
I use the Zoom Livetrak L-12 (it's linked in the description), but it might be a bit overkill if you're not a content creator and don't need the built in recorder/routing options.
I have an odd situation with SUB37 recording midi in/out. The SUB37 gets stuck on some ghost note from the Deluge. Also, some odd program change happens and I don’t know why. Appreciate any feedback or similar experiences.
I found that Pitchbend was disabled from the KeyStep 37 when using USB MIDI but worked fine over 5-Pin MIDI... then I went in to the Settings>MIDI>Device> and selected ArturiaKeyStep37 instead of DIN whie the KeyStep 37 was USB Host plugged to the Deluge... then the Pitch Bend worked... Imagine it will be much the same with any MPE device over USB... Just in case somebody else finds a similar problem... and thinks... hey this should work. It does but you gotta tell it to work.
