I've always liked the work of Nils Frahm so I decided to recreate his musical vibe with my synths and patches. The track starts with the theme from Frahm's "Says" and then goes into it's own direction.
This is wonderful, I love your descriptions about your process and it sounds divine! Love that perFourma. I thought the Deluge had to be powered by mains to use USB - but clearly not!
so nice to hear someone attempt to recreate Says - always one of my faves from his more recent works.........(lucky enough to correspond with Nils online, starting many years ago,.....and finally meet him in person a few years back...........great work on this......
This is brilliant and elegant and powerful music. I assume you are making an album of your soundscapes? Should put it out on vinyl too;). Seriously, very inspiring work.
Thats the loveliest jam I've heard in a long time! Really great! Does the synthstrom have a possibility to bounce it's internal tracks or some kind of multitrack recording into a daw? Cheers and keep it up!
Thank you! :) Unfortunatelly there's no multitrack in Deluge. The unit has no track limits, maybe this is the reason. So I use Allen&Heath QU-SB to multitrack everything into SD drive.
Great music and gear! Just stumbled on your channel because of the Allen&Heath QU-SB remark on a different channel. I have quite a similar setup and I am looking for a mixer. So would you still recommend the QU-SB or more the QU? And loved seeing the Deluge in the arranger mode. That is how I want to use it too. And the Vermona…sigh. Keep up the nice work. I found a great new channel!
Thank you so much! Yep I'm very happy with the QU-SB. There are only two problems: lack od standard MIDI out (there is a solution called Bome Box) and quite tricky multitrack recording (you need to buy external harddrive and there are only few ahich are accepted by the QU-SB). But everything else is great and I can recommend getting the mixer :)
@@Synth-PatchesCom Thank you a lot for your reply. What solution work best for multitrack recording from your point of view? SSD? For MIDI I have the same problem ;) I am looking into the Kenton Midi Merge and the Kenton Midi Thru. Those are complete standalone boxes but only DIN MIDI so I might still need your recommendation.
@@wiltfriedpathuis3539 There is a list of SSD hard discs compatibile with QU-SB (www.allen-heath.com/usbdevicelist/). Unfortunatelly as far as I know the only Midi solution is the Bome Box. Even the producer A&H recommends this. So there are three main problems with QU - no midi, no Wi-Fi and no internal hard disc. But everything else is brilliant ;)
@@Synth-PatchesCom thank you! That will be my way to go then. But you don’t use the multitrack recording yourself? Or straight into your DAW? Btw do you have an account where I can listen to your music other than this channel. Love the music and filmic content you create!
