Wann know more about Vermona? Here is a video we did some years ago for Electronic Beats TV in the Vermona HQ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fFwEy4ilMdI.html
there were some moments of bliss in this demo.. thanks for uploading and taking the time to play some nice segments to show off the machine and your ear for good sound!
love this synth. Mika Forsling did a lfo sync video wich is one of the best ever electronic sound I ear in my life. I open mine and this is really four independants card synth +a fifth one for sync and one for the amp. incredible build quality on the card inside, very impressive. love also OORA wich is making this a complet set up.
One of my favourite synths I don't own. "Discovered" it about half a year ago and it seems like the perfect synth for me. But I'm not there yet. Other things with a lower price tag are much more sensible. I just know that I'm going to own this rather sooner than later :D
I'm really surprised Vermona doesn't get that much mention. From what I have seen they have quite a lineup of great-sounding gear. They defiantly deserve more love.
@@peladoclaus The music of Mika Forsling is good for this synth and vice versa. I like how he's into clean tones and the music pretty much always grooves in this simple, minimalistic way. You can tell he's into textures but he doesn't modulate or filter all day, which is kind of cool.
It compliments the more aggressive sounding Moog with it's silkyness. For what ever reason it's one of the best sounding synths. Also I believe the filters are 24db
I just rewatch these videos for the mini-jams after 19:50. again and again. it happens to me with all his reviews. maybe you could do some videos of Stimming just playing with super minimal setups.
i think this is an informative review about the per4. i don't know why people are complaining about it. it's not the best review on youtube and it doesn't make the synth shine. this is actuallu the strength of the review imo. you can hear how the synth sounds when its operated in a mediocre way. probably most of us watching youtube synth videos fall into that category of synthesists. if your playing style is very physical and impulsive then this synth is not for you. if you are diligent enough to read the manual and focused enough to concentrate on knob tweaking then you probably will enjoy this synth.
I feel the same. It might be lacking a certain aggressiveness and it is always gentle, musical and beautiful. I do not see why this should be a flaw... if you want harsh and unpleasant sounds, you can simply use other synths. This one is simply unique, in its mellow texture, and I would always recognise it.
I’m happy that this guy did the revue ! And now I know three of the LFOS clock divide and follow synth ones LFO! Try to pry that out of the crappy manual.👽
DUO1 is each note trigger alternatively each parts. Like an 2 part M2 mode. DUO2 is like a 2 note polyphonic mode with 4 voices. You can trigger both parts in same time and make chords, or keep a note on one parts and playing with the other.
I have vermona lanset 15 the ocs are sounds very good like this one . and the noise generator i think sounds very pleased not like on my novation peak . Thank you for the review ,now i more like the perfourmer 2
Great review, thanks. I would add that the filter cutoff is mapped to midi after touch, that the individual outs are inserts, so you can add an effect in-line for each synth voice, and that this synth produces mostly very basic tones, but if you add even a little reverb or delay on there, it blooms into something truly beautiful. I got one last month and I absolutely love it 🥰
@@leftmono1016 it's the same on the DRM1 as well. Super easy to add some effects to just a single voice or drum instrument and still use the standard stereo outs 🙂
individual out on behringer UMC 1820 then each four will get different AUM treatment on ipad and back to the UMC. Vermona Perfourmer controlled by deluge on plenty different midi chanel . so cool. OORA has a video with individual in/out pedal
"everything is very beautiful until its not" :-)... hammer! und schon wieder tränen gelacht. bin ich froh, wenn man den stimming wieder live auf die leute los lässt :-)
Whats the best alternative sonically (because I love the Sonics) that can save patches? DCO might be necessary perhaps? I am coming from Novation Summit, Behringer MS 01 and crave here (was considering a Hydrasynth...not as an alternative but a sound design machine...different beast of course).
think this bad boy could get some deep clean sine type sub basses? i am never really happy with any sub i get out of the A4. usually too agressive and not very liquid.
I need to know what Stimming concludes about DSI Tempest Analog Drum Machine!!! This machine generates so diverse opinions Thanks for this great videos!
Great video, I love mine, it’s certainly not a synth you’d buy if you don’t own any hardware synth already. What I like doing is when you run a midi sequence through it whilst tweaking keep flicking between the 3 VCA modes, that’s where the magic happens I’m surprised stimming didn’t do this, maybe Tim might do it on his upcoming video…….oh and did he mention the LFO actually had 4 waveforms, I’m sad I read the manual once upon a time.
Tune every time? No, No, No. I have my perFOURMer in a rack, and after about 20 minutes it has held almost perfect pitch for two years without user intervention. Unless you live in a fridge or an oven, I don't believe after the correct warm-up period, at least my perFOURmer requires any tuning. The same with my Vermona '14, let it warm up for about 20 minutes and it is right back in the tune zone.
Not sure how much you tweak live but he is talking about accidentally adjusting a tune knob, which happens quite often as they are not really clever placed. When you just carefully touch everything with your fingertips you probably never had or will have the tune problem once it is in correct tune😉
really love the sound but is too expensive, the cheapest version has no cv inputs, I wonder why 4 voices synth with no keys nor sequencing is this pricey
Perhaps the sound near the end is more similar to a female cat in heat !!! Hearing that sound at night is harrowing indeed... Never thought a 🐱 cat could actually make that sound.💡🙊🌌💥🐾
You’re an elitist …to say that it’s nothing special the oscillators… you are so wrong…. Go back to your tweaking designer toys like teenage engineering… learn how to tune btw. The quality and built of this synth is absolutely phenomenal. Too many elitist on YT
