hahah they said the same shit on arenas show. "I get lebron for 20 years!" NO YOU DO NOT. You get him until he leaves to the next team up elsewhere and then he comes back and leaves again.
The biggest flaw of this manufactured debate is the fact, you can’t put LeBron in your top 10 knowing the following: • Left and joined Bosh and Wade in his prime. • With a super team lost to Dallas and being the reason they lost • Swept by the Spurs & GS (lost 4-1 in 2014 against the Spurs) • Left Miami when it got tough and went back to Cavs to play with younger Kyrie and Love • Left again and help force AD out to LA With all that, moving and team stacking, still only ended up with 3 rings and 1 bubble ring. I use these points because he hasn’t caught Jordan in accolades, metrics, stats, nor impact on the game. The only thing he’s saying are opinions, who HE’D chose. Lebron with all the extra years and stacked squads still hasn’t surpassed Jordan in rings, MVPs, Final MVP, DPOY, etc. Lebron fans want to give him credit for participation and ignore the failures in the biggest moment. Playing 20+ years is awesome, but not the standard to define the GOAT.
Dont forget lebron taking steroids in maimi . Being part of the only pro team to win bronze . The lewalk out special in the 4th( zero sportsmanship) and drive to takw over. Zeke (isiah thomas ) got flak for not shaking. Hands while lebron cant take the L with his team and throws them under the bus whem he lewalksouts. Never made an original number his icon number. Usinf 23 cause he has to remember the peak or repeats he'll never have or known. Plus hes extremly selfish on the court. 40k points happened at a loss. Lol didnt deserve mvp for bubble or olympics. Ad and curry shouldve gotten those mvps. Like theres to little of anything claim hes tbe goat lol. The only thing special about him. Is his longevity. But not really cause kareem also played for a long time. Kareem. Kobe zeke and duncan are the only ones with a argument. To claim beimg better then mj. Amd the only few better are wilt and bill. Wilt has all the records and bill all the ringz
Playing 20yrs isn’t awesome esp when in those 20yrs most of it is spent losing,a short winning career is awesome and better than spending all ur time losing smh
10 times out of 10 times I’m going with the weapon that gives me 10 scoring titles and two three-peats and makes my Franchise relevant. Lebum made super team building , team hopping and coming up short acceptable and some how he’ll go with that guy 🤡
10 scoring titles and 9 NBA all defense + 1 DPOY. Thats insane. Lebron gets due credit for being the all time scorer while also being top 5 in assists. But that is a reflection more of his longevity while MJ was simply at the very very top. People bring up Pippen...its a FACT that MJ helped mold Pip into a great player. Guarding each other in scrimmages, 1 on 1 after practice, and inviting Pip to train at his house in the summer, all these things led to Pip becoming great. Then theres Phil Jackson..the guy who was coaching in Puerto Rico before he joined the already rising Chicago Bulls. Phil won championships only while conveniently having 3 players that are in the all time top 10 (MJ, Kobe, Shaq).
@@Christo_Trismegistus His fans will give you the excuse that he's been the most consistent, but it's misleading because the offense has been catered to him for most of the Olympics. They tried hard to give it to him in Cavs when Draymond was out, Steph was not at 100%, refs were boosting their plays and in the Lakers a Mickey Mouse ring. 😅
Most of LeBron's Tik Tok, social media fans never watched Michael Jordan play a single game live on TV. They only know him from film, memes, shoes and commercials. They're just preaching to ignorant kids and trying to build up an audience. Just like "we're done with the 90's"
Magic, MJ, Bird, Duncan, Russell, to cover each position...among others. My personal first pick for such a draft is Bird, because he can and will do anything and will lift all his teammates to new heights. Also, I really don't want to play against him, if I'm drafting against someone else.
That guy is the archetype of the delusional soft weak minded Lebron fanboy, it’s pitiful. He was rambling all year that the Lakers were going to win the Championship, they failed miserably and somehow that doesn’t hurts LeQueen but scoring garbage points against Bruno Caboclo, makes him the greatest of all time. lol
I know exactly what you're referrring to. You think I haven't heard this Jordan fanboy defense a thousand times over? Bird never called Jordan better than himself just because he paid him a compliment. Now accept that Bird owned Jordan instead of throwing out bs like I don't know basketball. YOU DON'T KNOW BASKETBALL IF YOU THINK THE MANTLE OF GOAT BELONGS TO A GUY THAT BIRD BEAT MF 14X IN A ROW.
I was thinking this the whole time. Curry was drafted and won 🏆 🏆 🏆🏆. Tim Duncan was drafted and won 🏆 🏆🏆🏆🏆. Even Wade won 🏆🏆🏆 with the team that drafted him. If you just want someone to get you 1 🏆 you can draft Dirk, Giannis, Kawhi, Jokić, Tatum, Brown, or a ton of other guys.
Not just that, when has Lebron won anything where he didn't have a stacked team? You could mention the Lakers, but even then that's 2 of the top 5 players in the NBA playing together.
LeBron winning Bronze in 04 and 06 is why they needed Kobe to save him in the Redeem team - also why he needed Steph Curry and Kevin Durant to save him this time.
True but that’s not even the point, just by watching them play it pretty easy to see who’s the best, plus MJ won with whoever they put together with him instead of running around and making coaches fired ‘cause they didn’t do what he wanted, LeBron attitude is of a coward incapable to win if not with a stacked deck!!!!
well Jordan had a ton of scoring titles, better defender, better handles, more moves, better PG, woulda been better even at Lebrons SF position. & 3-peated twice & didn’t run all over ring chasing.

I mean the Olympics only showed us that LeBron needs at least 4 to 5 all-nba players just to win the Olympics against teams that barely got any NBA players.
"Rings don't matter..." But one more Gold medal does 🤔 1) Then why'd LeBron leave Cleveland for Miami, Jump back to Cleveland when Wade and bish started showing wear & tear despite the 8 ring promise and why did LeBron get half of the 2019 Lakers traded away for AD if rings didn't mean anything? 2) This is a part of LeBrons legacy. The argument for the devaluing of a championship.

No, it's a simple argument based om rational transitivity. Russell has more rings than MJ, but since MJ is more versatile, MJ is better than Russell. However, the same argument does not apply when comparing MJ and LeBron. MJ has more rings than LeBron, but LeBron is more versatile than MJ, LeBron is better than MJ.
@@MrClebophdHow is Lebron more versatile? He has no bag no handles cant shoot except layups was never a better defender than Jordan and hasn't even played defense in a decade. And if you say hes a better passer he only avgs 1 more assist a game and if you say he can guard all 5 positions name 1 actual center he guarded? So please explain how is he more versatile and better than Jordan
@@MrClebophd LeBron is the definition of big for nothing. The man could be a great two-way player, but he doesn’t play that way. The only great defensive place I’ve seen them do are chase down blocks, but other than that, he is not a lockdown defender or even half that. Also, you can’t even say that he’s a shooter either as he’s very inconsistent with the 3 ball and didn’t even take the time to learn it until Curry popularized it.
@@leonardjackson6210 The hate is strong with this one. LeBron is more versatile because he is bigger and stronger. This means that he can do more. He can defend bigger opponents, rebound better, and pass over taller opponents. He is also a better shooter from long range. You are correct that LeBron is not a center, but he can play the power forward position. This MJ could never do because he was too small and too weak. LeBron can use his size and strength to dominate - that's why he has a great FG% slightly better than MJ's. Let's assume that you are the coach. The opponents have a post player like Alonzo Morning or Karl Malone. Can you put MJ to defend them. No, that would be a very bad match-up. LeBron would do better. In basketball, size matters and it evident in versatility.
100%. Rodman was correct when he said, Lebron has no move. Drive straight to the basket and bulldoze his defender. That's it. Only Lebron delusional fans would say otherwise. His footwork is still flawed after 20 years as well as his dribbling.
I can't wait for the day that Lebron is no longer defended by the media. His uncalled offensive fouls, his travelling, his turnovers...but most of all, I want the steroid scandal to break. I want his legacy crumbled. Lebron James is the Barry Bonds or A-Rod of Basketball, a great player who was insecure and took the easy path, every time.

I love how that guy uses probably the WORST argument for picking LeBron. Not only is it the easiest argument for me NOT to pick LeBron but LeBron wouldn't even make my top 10. If I'm building a culture of success for my franchise I'm looking Jordan, Kobe, Magic, Bird, Duncan, Russell, Kareem, Shaq, Curry, etc. etc. before I would ever pick LeBron. The guy is a literal cancer to any organization. If I picked LeBron the only thing I could expect would be to get fired, after trading away future talent, trading away future 1st rd draft picks, firing multiple coaches, and not achieving anything.
A few things: 1) All you are saying, if you believe that this era is "super hyper skilled", is that if MJ played today, he would be surrounded by even better players. MJ would be even better than he was and probably have more chips, not fewer. 2) Jordan didn't have a chance to be clutch in the Olympics.... because they actually did what they were supposed to do and blow out teams.... Jordan also took a backseat in the Olympics in 92, to let the other guys shine - this was obvious to anyone who watched. 3) If you want to have some fun, look at Lebron in the last 5 minutes of the Finals, to tie or win the game. It's like 20%. Please do a video on this. Lebron-is-the-goat-fans are terrible people - I mean that. And dumb.
I don't understand media or fans when it comes to LeBron. Yes he is one of the greatest, but he cannot carry a team, he does not make players better. He needs at least two stars to be relevant. Otherwise, he's around .500. Lakers are perfect example. With only he and Davis and the refs the Lakers have been barely significant since the bubble.
Thank you! LeBron has had a minimum of at least 2 other all star players in their prime whenever he has won a championship. LeBron is a great player but he's not winning anything with just one all star player.
@@Zal8888Congrats. In a short season with alot of players opting not 2 play in the bubble Lebron won a championship with one allstar player. Mike did that 4 times playin all 82
The Olympics are the perfect evidence that LeBron doesn't make players better. If you gave any one of the stars on the Olympic team their NBA starting lineup, they'd likely win Bronze. With all the stars they had, they should have won each of these games in a blowout. But they ran things through LeBron, the turnover king who purposely plays for assists. It reduced all their stars to role players trying to win LeBron's way. If they played the Warriors' style of play with Steph or KD leading the way, they blow these teams out. But LeBron wouldn't be able to be in the lineup unless he was going to play Draymond Green's role on the floor. LeBron would've been the one sitting like Tatum was. But you can't get LeBron to take a backseat so the team can play to its full potential. He's there to get credit for winning. The credit is more important than the winning. He'd rather lose than have to win without getting the credit because we all know, if they lose, the media blames everyone but LeBron. If Curry didn't save them, they would blame Kerr for not playing Tatum enough, or they'd blame Hill and Nike for not putting Brown on the team.
This hypothetical all-time draft is quite possibly the worst pro lbj argument possible. He jumps ship at the earliest possible moment. Has a playstyle that needs to be complimented and turns everyone else into role players. He has a high maintenance personality and will call for everyone else’s head when the team fails. He is extremely toxic in game (flopping, complaining, giving up after misses and turnovers, often his own, forgets to move on both ends if he doesn’t have an opportunity to accrue stats, poor shot selection, argues with teammates). Maybe I am crazy, but I don’t see how lbj would even be a first round pick in a situation like this.
I think it's a breath play thing, for them. The hypoxia makes them lightheaded and causes them to ramble about things with no connection to reality. They're just into it.
Yal up LeBron behind more than his fans that’s why you wake up everyday looking for something to comment on about a guy you claim you don’t like at all

Michael Jordan won ZERO In the year before Michael Jordan and LeBron James joined their team and the year after they left their team, their records were 83-84 bulls 27-55 84-85 bulls. 38-44 92-93 bulls 57-25 93-94 bulls 55-27 98-99 bulls 13-37 without Scottie Pippen 00-01 wizards 19-63 01-02 wizards. 37-45 02-03 wizards 37-45 03-04 wizards 25-57 02-03 cavaliers 17-65 03-04 cavaliers 35-47 09-10 cavaliers 61-21 10-11 cavaliers 19-63 09-10 heat. 47-35 10-11 heat 58-24 14-15 heat 37-45 2013-14 cavaliers 33-49 2014-15 cavaliers 53-29 2017- 18 cavaliers 50-32 2018-19 cavaliers 19-63 2017-18 lakers. 35-47 2018-19 lakers were 20-14 when LeBron James got injured on Christmas day. As you can see When LeBron James joins a team, the team improves more than Michael Jordan and when LeBron James leaves a team, the team always goes into the tank. Michael Jordan, excluding the 94-97 seasons, when the NBA moved the three point line to 22 feet, was a career 28% three point shooter. LeBron James is a career 34% three point shooter Michael Jordan was a great defensive player, in an Era where you could handcheck. Playing defense is much easier when you can handcheck. For nearly 6'9 250 LeBron James' entire career he wasn't afforded the opportunity to handcheck. THE EVIDENCE IS CLEAR..LEBRON JAMES IS THE GOAT!!!!! I have added a Postscript So many have replied, that LeBron james didn't make the playoffs his first two years and Jordan did. What they fail to say is, in 1985, 16 of 23 teams made the playoffs. In 2004, 16 of 29 teams made the playoffs. It was MUCH EASIER to make the playoffs in 1985, as opposed to 2004. Perfect example is, the 1985 86 bulls went 30-52 and made the playoffs and the 2004 05 cavaliers went 42-40 and did not make the playoffs. Also, I don't know, possibly, maybe, Jordan had a HUGE ADVANTAGE considering he played three years of college basketball and LeBron James was 19 years old, and straight out of high school
It's not just the rings that sets Jordan apart from the rest. It was his tenacity, fierceness, leadership and abilities to run the floor in clutch situations. Not to mention his personal goals to set a standard and live up to that standard, never compromising on his dream and ambitions.

Literally nobody even cared about the Olympics in the GOAT debate a month ago. It wasn't even in anyone's metrics. Lebron wins one more and Lebron fan boys go nuts LOL
I DONT THINK MJ EVEN WINS THAT QUESTION. - If we are picking anyone from Rookie Season to start a Franchise, The Only correct Answer has to be *MAGIC JOHNSON* - From rookie season he can handle the rock, find open pass lanes, direct the floor, is a competitor, no quit, is LOYAL (I.e 25 yr- 25 mil Contract) MVP caliber just about every season he played. - As much as MJ *IS* in fact the *GOAT* . Magic is the only clear choice if we have to start a Career from Rookie season to begin a franchise. Let’s be honest now, MJ became the GOAT as his career progressed and nobody will ever beat him. But MAGIC had a better start and was consistent throughout his career until the unfortunate end. IYKYK
I saw a stat that showed Jordan only missed 6 games during that 1991-98 run. That’s insane when you take in how much regular and postseason basketball they played while still never losing 3 straight games during that time and winning at least 60 games in all those title runs except the 93 season. LeBron doesn’t have that kind of availability and durability. Not even close to it.
Rings are the MOST IMPORTANT thing, but not the ONLY thing that matters. If rings were the ONLY thing that mattered when it comes to individual greatness, someone like Robert Horry would be spoken about among the greats, but he isn't because he doesn't have anything else on top of that individually since he was a role player. Also, if that statement were true, the likes of LeBron and KD would not be as criticized as they are for the WAY they won their rings, but they are. So, the FASHION in which rings are won clearly matters as well.
First off, before I watch this, I want to say I am so happy you are covering Jason at Hoops Tonight. He is knowledgeable about the game of basketball but a LeBron fanatic that avoids controversial topics on his channel- but, controversy and basketball go hand-in-hand now because of the media; and he becomes delusional about LeBron regardless. Lots of smiling face here right now...
It is really easy to throw zingers and superlatives around for clicks and likes, yet you choose to be factual and provide good arguments with actual foundations. I applaud you for doing it this way.
