Cousins was disrespected by the kings organization when they didn’t pay him the contract he deserved, and never surrounding players around him that could compliment his play style. Michael Malone was the only good coach that the kings had that could mesh well with him, and vivek fired him which turned out to be a terrible move. At least the kings were able to get buddy hield out of cousins and they’re still on the rise. It’s hard being a kings fan bro

Cousins had it all. Great traditional post game, outstanding outside shooter for a center, one of the best passing centers of all-time, could handle the ball, knew how to utilize his body extremely well on defense to cut off lanes AND he played with a chip on his shoulder. It's too bad his legs started to break down in 2018 because as good as he was I felt like he never really reached his ceiling. His numbers were outstanding but I really wanted to see him on a team with talent. Put prime Cousins on a team like the Bucks or Blazers and even though his numbers will go down that team becomes an instant title contender..

Boogie was my favorite center during the early and mid 2010s. I always thought of him as a bigger Chris Weber. Mobile big man with great footwork and a solid jumper. I always overlooked his attitude problem because he was just in a terrible team that failed to put the pieces around him. I rooted for him until the end of his career. It sucks and he is truly just unlucky.

After that sad final game where the Rockets just gave up, I was thinking about the Warriors' final game last year. They had lost 2 of their 3 best players to injuries. DeMarcus was playing hurt. And yet they still stayed in the game to the very end and had a chance to win if only a couple more shots had fallen. In some ways it was the Warriors' finest moment and DeMarcus at least got to be part of it. So much better than what the Rockets and Clippers players went through this summer.

He might of never got the max deal that his talent deserves, but luckily for him he's received 37 million over his career if I'm not mistaken. He made it to the league which I'm sure was a dream of his and he'll land somewhere eventually. Atleast he also got a chance to become an allstar in the NBA which most players don't become. We gotta stop acting as if guys like Boogie, D Rose and Penny are out on the streets homeless. I wouldn't call his career unfortunate. I would just say that's his story.
