The emotion captured in your voice is unreal. As impressed as I am with all the technical aspects, there's something so authentic in the way Demi is singing in this album.

As someone who recently started medication for my mental health, I definitely relate to this song. A lot of times we look for the thing to fix all of our problems, but progress is not perfect, or linear.

She is such a role model for me. Cause being a role model does not mean being perfect and doing everything right. It means to make mistakes and to fall but always get up again and Demi does that and while lifting herself up she lifts others up with her and shows us that we can get up on our own too. And THAT is POWERFUL!!! If I ever meet her I wanna tell her just that and give her a big hug. Wish her and everyone out there all the best and all the happiness in the world. Believe in yourself.

I love this song and I LOVE that lyric "Living for perfection isn't living". That being said, I personally don't believe in "California sober". I know different things work for different people but when you're an addict you will ALWAYS be an addict. The point is once you've had one drink you ALWAYS want more. You can't stop. Especially someone so deep in their addiction as Demi is.

As much as I see Demi’s great intentions and honesty in this sing, I can definitely attest:,There’s no such thing as “California Sober”. Unfortunately, addiction is a disease that lies to us telling is “it’s ok to have “xyz” in moderation”, but it doesn’t work that way. Once you become a pickle you will never EVER go back to being a cucumber. It may “work” for a few months or even a year, but one day that urge will bite the person, and it’s back to hell again. My best suggestion: DO NOT DO DRUGS. Easy to dome in, an uphill battle to get out! But there IS a solution
