@@augustosilva2051no her voice is not that light as you expected. It's darker and heavier, but this part she has a headier mix in this compared to past
When I tell you the absolute shock on my face when she sustained that last A5-B5-A5 run like she was just ordering a coffee from Starbucks 😭 I’m amazed 🫢
Revamped upper belts are her best ever! But her tone during her first 3 eras (before she got her tonsils removed) is what made me fall in love with her. She had so much power and fullness in her mid belts back then.
Since Tell Me Your Love Me era is obvious that her voice are so much better especially the belt notes. She learned how to mix don't struggling the notes and the vocal cords. And definetly Revamped is the best vocal era.
she used to have sooo much resonance hence why i preferred her in her super early days. I've never been a fan of her vibrato she started to introduced heavily in the confidence era. an example would be, 4:17 this note was so beautiful and clear until she added that vibrato. however shes improved a lot since dancing with the devil era, example would be 6:45 - nice and consistent vibrato. however saying this, in her latest two albums her resonance has been BOOMING and her clarity + ease of those F5s is incredible
She still has resonance now, she didn't lose it. The thing is that yeah arguably she has stronger resonance and fuller sound before because she's using chest more, her belts before are way way chestier but now she use a little more head voice and it became slightly headier compared than before but she still has resonance, it's just that it isn't as heavy as before.
@@moragev2606 i agree 100%. i think i just preferred her youthful tone paired with that bright resonance. her resonance in very recent times has been extremely powerful and bright, shes improved so much as a vocalist.
Unbrokem/HWGA is prob her best tonal quality era and vocally its Revamped. TMYLM, especially early in the era and late in the era is where she seemed to have the best balacne between her vocal ease/quality and tone tho.
Not gonna lie i probably like early Demi eras more in terms of vocals. The mid belts are just much stronger, more open and with better technique. Her/Their tone is much more pleasing and also her/their style was much more interesting. IDK this decade Demi is impressive but bit predictable and too relying on upper belting range which even though can hit much higher and much more easily than ever before is filled with lots of tension.
I also like her upper belting before Revamped Era. She's mixing too heady and the volume of her belts sometimes thin out. Plus she loses tonal quality as she goes higher. ❤️
Demi's technique has never been better than during her Holy fvck/Revamped Era. Much less early Demi, whose vocals were often hit or miss because she was extremely pushy. The only thing that early Demi had over current Demi is that she would attempt full blown pharynx-resonance chesty belting up to Eb5 and sometimes pull it off (and when she did it sounded great). But outside of that, her voiced always thinned out D5 and up. I'll give you that her early tone was warmer and more pleasant though. But then again, it's not a technique issue. She just had to have her tonsils removed. Perrie Edward's from Little Mix experienced a similar shift in tone (from warm to metallic) after tonsil surgery btw.
