RIP to Aretha Franklin. I love this cover just because Demi fits so well singing her song. Aretha was an inspiration to many people including me. My hearts go out to Aretha’s family. Also Demi’s family and her for her recent struggles. The Queen of souls will rest in piece now.❤️
Agree! Im not saying she's the best candidate over all other singer to cover this, but at least a better one over Ariana. Aretha got a lil darker low register and gets thin when she belt up. Demi got lil more weight to her belt. Ari is good, but not for this kind of song. She sounded a random winner of The Voice Kids covering Ms Franklin.
I know, right? She’s amazing too! Beautiful song and cover. Aretha was a true talent, an inspiration, a legend. I also made an acapella cover of this song as a tribute to the Queen of Soul. RIP 💜
Demi Lovato is actually the one who should have been there singing this classic with Kelly Clarkson. Also, they should have invited Christina Aguilera to sing Ain't no way and Think. Ariana Grande is a cute and talented girl, but she does not have the soul and, despite being Greek-Italian descent as me, she clearly lacks enough latinness to sing with passion, emotion and dedication these incredibly beautiful songs as they require it. Peace and love. @Ari X @Solara @Juliette Pierre
The way she mouths "thanks" at the end as if she didn't just bless US with her insane vocals and snatch everyone and their mother's goddamn weaves.... like MA'AM we are just lucky to even live at the same time as you to witness your amazing talent and you're thanking US!? jnkjadbfo
Looking out on the morning rain (a-ooh) I used to feel uninspired (a-ooh) And when I knew I had to face another day (a-ooh) Lord, it made me feel so tired Before the day I met you Life was so unkind But you're the key to peace my mind 'Cause you make me feel You make me feel You make me feel like a natural woman (woman) When my soul was in the lost-and-found You came along to claim it I didn't know just what was wrong with me Till your kiss helped me name it Now I'm no longer doubtful Of what I'm living for And if I make you happy I don't need to do more 'Cause you make me feel You make me feel You make me feel like a natural woman (woman)

It’s interesting because she’s known for doing incredible encores at the the end of her concerts like this. When I saw her at the Prudential Center in April 2018, she didn’t do one. I got an uneasy feeling that night. It was the last night of the US leg of her tour. Everything fell apart after that night...
mess grande? She wasn't supposed to over work the song and belt throughout the song, the version she did was a stripped back version and it was amazing, it wasn't the best as her vocals where a bit weak that day but she did an excellent performance of it on jimmy Fallon
