@@Ignasimp even Tom Jones larynx raised during those c5’s it’s how the voice literally works. It would be dangerous to try and lower the larynx for higher belts and u can see Demi go up to g5 so yea it would need to raise to achieve this. But I know what you mean, excessive raising can cause problems with tension and pitch

@@RussianRomanoff No it did not. The larynx only raises in high notes because singers nowadays have poor technique. Even modern opera singers have very bad technique. The studies that arrived at this conclusion studied modern opera singers with trashy technique. I myself can sing with a low larynx in the high notes even though I still have a lot of development to do.
