I picked up some black frag micarta scales from karbadize for my Sharksfoot. Sent him a DM, he responded right away, and 4 days later they arrived. Might order some terotuf for my clip point. I have T8 pivot screws on both of mine.

There’s a lot of steel around the pivot hole on the blade. Looks very strong, some knives aren’t near as beefy all the way around the pivot hole.

Drilled and tapped for left carry. That’s great👍🏻

Just got the DLT tanto version in 3V and g-10. Fun knife and great action. I do love so far, but the scales are not what I hoped. Feels more like plastic then typical g-10. Pretty aggressive texture. I see an upgrade in my future…. lol. Liking that blue terotuff!

Thanks for this video, Lefty! Just got some Dragon Scale micarta scales from RGT, but had not swapped the AD20.5 scales or anything with a spring before. With this video, the spring was much easier to deal with! Have the knife reassembled now and the action is fine. That was the main thing I was worried about, so thank you!

I really like the finish on the blade of the AD20.5. The scales that come with them are hot garbage though. Loving the ones you got!

You can get $5 steel standoffs to replace the gray plastic backspacer and a low riding clip - and you'll have a great custom piece!!! I have ordered an orange G10 set of scales for $11, which I will dye Red or Burgundy - and those other items I've mentioned I already have on mine - just can't wait to get rid of the plastic scales...

That’s one reason I went with the fat carbon. The scales are ROCK SOLID when bending them compared to the micarta sets. But honestly it doesn’t matter. The liners are plenty tough

I’m using grease, blade fall’s easily and has no play. For me when I use oil it just migrates between the liners and scales.

Anybody know the difference between terotuff and richlite? I have a kizer 4v feist with richlite but I don't have any terotuff knives but was thinking about a set of purple terotuff scales for my Cruwear pm2 so any opinions are welcome

Dude I give you credit for ripping them knives apart I just got my domino the blade would barely open or close so I tryed to break the pivot free to see what was going on I couldn’t budge the pivot……. I said fuck it now I have to do the paperwork and send it back to Spyderco!!!!! I don’t want to strip the screws out!!!!! Sucks and I’ve had that knife about 15 years and it’s all gummed up there was never nothing wrong with that knife I take care of my knives!!!!!

I had one come today. I have been interested but Aus10 sucks and Knifecenter has their exclusive now that said it was k110 or D2 really so I bought one. Blade is marked D2 not k110 but either way same steel really just thought it would be marked k110. I ordered a Lynch already for it but thinking of buying scales. The FRN was FDE but looks more like baby shit from a baby that just ate a bunch of peas.

As of now he doesn't do scales for the full size. I offered to send him mine to use for a template after I ordered scales for the 20.5 but he never responded☹

I saw you have a serial number on yours. I have the Aus10 stonewashed sheeps foot with no serial number. Do I have a knock-off or is there something special about yours? My scales are rubbish and tbh, the lock feels rough/cheap, I’m not all that impressed with this $150 knife.

Outside of the idea and for the most part the construction, this knife is almost shit for the price. I have money to blow so it’s no big deal but I’m just thinking for the people that don’t, damn is this price gouged for the materials used. The only upside is the functionality of it is definitely fidget friendly and somewhat comfortable. I don’t care what anyone has to say, it’s still pretty insane to try and justify the price with materials used just because it’s “USA made”.
