I made a birthday card using your tutorial! I had it start as nice smiling picture of my sister, which changes into a very silly photo of her. Her reaction was amazing :D, thanks for the clear instructions!

Thank you! I think auto pull tabs make every pop-up technique even more interesting. I applied auto pull to your "Pull Tab Double Doors" model and it was very satisfying. It has very effective surprise effect. Please continue making these tutorials. They are wonderful. Square Type notifications always make me happy.

One more question, what is the blue/purple tape you are using?

That's just painter's tape I bought at the hardware store. It's tape you use on walls that doesn't stick permanently. You can use any tape you like.

I copied your changing blinds tutorial. I made it with photos of my 2 daughters wedding pictures and made it with 6 blinds instead of 4. I was happy with it. My next project is a pop up book for my grandson's 2yr birthday. I'll be using some of your demos and tutorials etc to help me create it.

I hate being THE downer commentator on your FABULOUS videos, BUT... Darlin'! Those of us watching RU-vid videos are, for the most part, doing it for ENTERTAINMENT -- OR -- are trying desperately to learn a new "trick" -- some of us in our 70's!! -- and we could most definitely use the REAL LIFE SPEED on your tutorials!! Truly, I was wound tighter than a drum after trying to follow this video, to say nothing of bloody c-r-a-b-b-y!! (I did NOT know that was happening to me at the time!!) Is there any way you could post the SLO-MO version of this video?!? Pretty please!! (Right now I've got to go apologize to my fella for snapping at him...)

Have you tried to the settings button on your RU-vid screen yet? There is a way to slow down the video speed. I think it's the "speed" option and then just pick a speed you'd prefer. Be sure to set it back to normal after you're done cause all of your consecutive videos will be at the same speed you've set. By the way, when making this pop-up the trick is to give the edges space to move so the pieces can slide easily.

@@SquareType I wasn't aware that was an option. I'll check for a "settings" thing-y. There seems to be various hit-or-miss aspects to Y.T. these days. In past the published date was always noted somewhere below the title of the video. Now, apparently that's not always the case. Little things like that. I wish Gargoogle would leave well enough alone!!

The settings button is the gear icon in the group of icons at the lower right corner of the video player. Click that and you'll see the speed option that you can then change. Good luck.

@@SquareType Oh HOW COOL!!!!!! Thank you for the education!!! I'm rather timid about "playing with the buttons", as my fella usually gets pressed into service to put everything right again! I WILL in future try THAT one out though!
