I'm not Indian but now I live in Mumbai because I get married with an Indian. In my country, we don't have roti/chapati/puri ... so to cook all Indian food is really a challenge for me. I don't live with parents in law so i don't have chances to learn Indian food. When i decided to buy this machine, so many people stopped me, they said "you can find a maid, don't buy it" but i want to take care of my man by myself. For me, it is working very well. This is my formula, you can try: First, turn on the machine 200g atta (I use Pantajali atta) + 180ml water + a little bit of salt Mix mix around 3 mins then put 1 table spoon of oil, continue to mix mix Divide into 8 balls make them flat ony by one then put in machine press 2 times, not strong not weak. it will work well to give u chapati (not good 100% but also 70% - 75% chapati if we compare to hand-made ones)
my second attempt was very success. Thanks. i can save energy and time . bonus is good and healthy food. rating - 10/10 for the product. I have done some improvisation. I used hot water to make the dough, Used the dough without waiting (saved time again), used dry flour to avoid stickiness ( Today the dough become sticky due to more water), Lowered the temperature to minimum before putting the dough ball for spreading. May be this will help some. One thing about the product is you should be patient to this product that, it will take atleast 2 to 5 trials to get the full compatibility of the product. After all I am a scientist, So know about the trial and error mechanism. But very good if get the tactics. If i have improvised further, will inform in this comment box. Thank you
As tha friend vicky vicknan told we have to try for 4 or 5 times all depends upon the dough it shd be loose I tried for times day by day I can c the improved one it has come good today
hi , like ur product, but I live in Toronto (canada) here electric mode is 120 volt, so will that work in international electric mode, pls reply also how I can get it,
I want to buy this. But when I was trying to order one in Flipkart for 467 rating of 5, there are 381 rating of 1. And many 5 ratings only reflect the happiness of the purchase compared to 1 ratings reflecting the usability of the device. I definitely want it but don’t know why i should buy a product i am not sure about for 2000-3000 when there are local products available for 600 -900 to experiment. I will only buy prestige roti maker if i can make one roti on my own on it or if there is money back guarantee period offer.

I am using this roti maker from more than 2 year now. Never I have seen a soft fluffy roti coming like this. Either it cracks or become browny and hard Even if I use oil/milk or just plain wheat flour. I have also tried the tips shown in this video. Can prestige answer my problem pls..
The green light of prestige roti maker turn on just after making one roti and just after placing the second roti on roti maker that makes the second roti not to flatten as big needed and so thick that one cannot eat it. Plz tell me why it is so.
Hi can u please tell me exact quatity of flour water ( hot or warm) and oil please because my roti is like rubber just bought the roti maker. Thank u in advance
A recipe shred here by a Vietnamese housewife @Ngo Diem of an India.. I never made roti..after the sixth try (of using different kinds of flower) i know that 90% is making the dough, 10 % is to use the prestige rotimaker. I keep the dough for 30 minutes or 45 minutes and add enough water to the dough. I use chakki ata. Thann i get fluffy roti.
Hi Vara, You can use it - But it will not work effectively. Without heat the non stick surface will not be as smooth and will take more effort. This may break the handle if pressed too hard Regards, Team Prestige
Same question here. I also want to buy a roti maker but I am very confused by watching videos on RU-vid. Many people are failed to make good roties on rotimaker and some are successful so I decided to buy a roti maker and if I will not be able to make good roties on rotimaker then I will use it as a roti roller.
Not on roti maker surface, but in dough. A recipe shred here by a Vietnamese housewife @Ngo Diem of an India.. Yes, you can. A recipe shred here by a Vietnamese housewife @Ngo Diem of an India.. My dear you are looking professional but not doing professionally demo .As you told dough is important part but you did not tell how water and atta we should take in ratios😟😟😟😟😢🙈🙉
Just follow the procedure, you will get it. Each and every tip is important.Especially dough consistency. I was not successful in the beginning., After 2 or 3 try ,I started making good chapathis.
roti maker liya maine prestige ka par roti thik se nahi ban raha hai roti fat jaata hai jab mai dono plate ko press karta hun tab roti puri tarah se gol nahi hota hai aur mota mota roti banta hai papad jaisa ban jaata hai kuch maja nahi aaya kuch tips de thik se roti banane ka roti maker me
Use hot water to make dough (so that the dough will be soft). Use immediately after making dough. Use small dough balls. Apply medium pressure with fast. I think that's it
PRESTIGE BRAND is the most worst brand. I purchased one induction cooker of prestige brand costs around rs.2000. It worked for 1.3 year onlyyy.one year warenty was there.but when i took to the shop where i purchased.warenty date was expired .the company is making fool to us.After that it stopped working and I have to throw. , because it's no more was. working.
I agree with Ram Ochani its a fake just listen the chef is saying to keep the dough for a hour or 2 its really sucking i purchased it as i am a frequent traveller though i can prepare instant rotis its really disgusting please do not purchase this product its really really waste of money
Hi. Did you try this product? Am asking this because I purchased a roti maker from a different brand and it was a waste. I had to throw it away. I was thinking Prestige is a reputed brand and it might have done a better job.
i bought this roti maker and trying since last 15 days but still. Rotis are like rubber and donot get fluffy. Called the representative 5 times but did not turn up. DONOT BUY IT IT IS TOTAL FRAUD
